Chapter Ten
Elise’s POV
I arrived at the apartment early in the morning. Kylie was probably still asleep so I didn’t bother to wake her up. When I entered my room I saw several bouquets on my bed, all of them from James.
“He kept coming here with bouquets ever since you left”
I turned and saw Kylie by the door and I instantly felt guilty. I sat on my bed and put my face on my palms then I felt Kylie sat next to me
“What do you plan to do?” she asked
“I don’t know…”
Kylie sighed “I’m sorry…”
I turned to her with a questioning look
“This is my idea” she said “I should have never suggested it if I had known you’d be this confused” she giggled lightly, trying to lighten the mood
“Actually, I like to thank you” I smirked “if you hadn’t suggested this, I wouldn’t have known how much I love Charlie and I wouldn’t be this happy”
“Boy, you seriously have the hots for Charlie, have you?”
“You have no idea” and Kylie and I laughed and that help lighten the mood
I looked at Kylie, “I’m going to break up with him…”
“Okay then, just let him down gently” she suggested “like it or not, his sister will get involved in this, it’s so freaking obvious how she’s so highly smitten with Charlie”
“Smitten? More like obsessed!”
Kylie laughed “It’s that bad?”
I nodded, “but I wouldn’t count on her doing something so bad”
Out of the blue, the telephone rang. Kylie and I looked at it
“That could be him” I said
“No, I’m sure that’s him” Kylie said “I’ll answer it”
Kylie approached the phone and answered it, “Hey James! Long time, no talk! Last time I talked to you was yesterday, how are you?” she said sarcastically which made me giggle
Kylie continued, “Yeah, she just arrived……can you talk to her? Nope, she’s taking a nap, you know long trip……I don’t know, I’ll ask her when she wakes up…..okay bye!”
“Well, what did he said?” I asked
“He was asking if you’re free tomorrow for a lunch date” Kylie answered “and told him I’ll ask you, so are you free tomorrow?”
“I guess, the sooner I break up with him, the better”
“Yep, want some coffee?”
I nodded and we went to the kitchen

Charlie’s POV
Elise left only yesterday but I already miss her terribly. We talked last night and she sent me a text before I went to school but still, nothing beats being able to be with her. so here I am now, hanging at the cafeteria, wondering what Elise is doing right now
“Charlie!”
Startled, I quickly sat straight, “what?!”
“I said we have soccer practice tomorrow!” Spencer said “Geez! You’ve been spacing out, what’s wrong with you?”
