NIPD: Team Alpha

List

What does that mean? I asked my self again.

He left without even noticing that were at his back.

Rubble mumble something behind me and Marshall eyes twinkle like christmas light in december when they finally read the their names.

"I hope I am at the good team." I told them and trying to look for my name too.

"Baby girl here." Marshall said. "You are definitely on the good team." pointing my name.

I saw my name and noticed that it is next to Rubble and before the name of Marshall. My eyes widen and I jump to Rubble hugging him.

"Oh my God. We're on the same team." I said loudly. Happiness are overflowing on my body now.

"Yes! It would appear so." He said hugging me back and laughing too.

Marshall hold my back and I released Rubble to hug him too.

"I am so happy, teammate." I told him while I hugged him.

He laugh softly and nodded. "Yes baby girl. I know you are." He released me then.

I look at the list again and see who are my other teammates. Since I know the team composed of one leader and five members.

I froze when my eyes landed on the name I didn't expect to see as the Team leader.

Team Leader: Chase. Stated on the list. Then the name of Rubble, Mine, Marshall and my other two teammates, which are my friends also, Rocky and Zuma.

"Chase is our team leader." I murmur, without even notice that I said it out loud.

"Yeah, and Adventure Bay is where we are assigned." I heard Rubble said behind me.

I look at the upper side of the paper posted. It said that we are the Team Alpha. Location Assigned, Adventure Bay. Commander, Rider. Mayor Margaretta Goodway.

Of all the data I read the Team leader is the most thing that distract me.

Of all people why do he need to be our team leader? Rocky can be the team leader cause he's good too. Even Zuma or Rubble or Marshall can be the team leader. But why Chase? And no, I don't like to be the leader, thinking of the responsibilities you are carrying and handling, so no. But why Chase?Really? As in Chase as our leader? No. I can't handle this.

"Grrrrrrrrrrr!!!!" Closing my eyes I shout at myself. Woops!

I look around me and see that everyone is looking at me.

"What is happening to you?" Rubble said beside me.

"Are you okay?" Marshall with concern voice.

"I think you don't like where we are assigned." Rocky said behind me, where I didn't notice that he is there with Zuma.

"No dude, I think she doesn't like you with the team." Zuma joke with smirk on his face.

"Fuck off Man." Rocky mumble. "I think it is you she don't like on the team." He continue, smiling.

"Stop. I like every one on the team." I told them and turn to face them all.

"Excuse me." The guy beside me said while making his way to see also the list.

I moved and hold Rubble and Marshall on their arm and pull them to the other side of the board so the other can take their glances also to the list. Behind me, Rocky and Zuma are following.

"We are one team now. Actually I am happy we are still together." I mutter, releasing both their arms I am holding.

We stand beside the corner and Marshall lean his back on the wall.

"Yeah. That's totally cool actually. At least we will not adjust our self for the group cause we know each other already." Zuma mutter.

The other boys nod.

They just don't know how will I adjust myself, not being with all boys around - since most of the trainees and who passed the training are boys -, but I don't know how will I put myself with Chase as a leader. We are the one who's not in good term being together. It would be awkward.

"Are you having a propaganda there to take me out being your leader?" A deep male serous voice asked behind us. I look round and see Chase.

Speaking of the devil. I rolled my eyes.

"No, Man. Actually, we're talking about how cool our team is. We are actually together." Rocky said, smiling that shows his all white teeth. He move forward to Chase and do the hand shake male thing then bump their shoulders.

"Congrats Bro." Zuma talk to Chase then do also the hand shake. Marshall and Rubble next.

Boys, What with the hand shake?

They talked something and I zoomed out myself to them cause i don't know what to tell chase.

Then everyone look at me after Chase said something.

"What?" I glare at them.

They all shake their heads.

"I am glad that I am your leader. But I need to go now. Commander Black instruct all the leaders of the team to be at the hall for some instruction. Maybe I'll see you around." Chase said before turning to walk.

I take a deep breath and close my eyes. Thanks God he ignored me.

"And Skye. I am glad that your with the team too." Chase said when he stopped and turned again to us.

I just look at his blue striking eyes and I notice a twitch on his lips but then he press it to stop a smile to spread wide, then turn and walk again.

What's with the smile, the smirk and what he said? Sometimes I really don't understand Chase, he simply ignore me and then in a blink, talk to me. Sometimes he even act like I am invisible to the point of not even notice that I am on his side. But there are times he talked to me like I am his friend that he can run when he needed one.

No, he didn't told me his problem or anything. He just asked me one time about how to memorized the buttons in an aircraft which he said he found it difficult. Yes, that's all, nothing more.

I felt an arm wrapped against my shoulder and a pull. I look at my side and see Rubble smiling at me.

He start to walk and said "Come on, we need to pack our things now." and I follow his footstep.

I gave him a small smile and wrap my arm on his waist.

Marshall and the others are following behind us as we make our way to the bank of elevator and head up to our room.

As commanded, all members should be ready, cause after the orientation for the leaders. This morning the team will be right away sent to the place where they are assigned.

Unlike the first time I came here, where in, nervous and fear filled my heart, it is now excitement and confidence that runs into my blood. I know with all the time, effort , hard work and determination I put on to my training this will be the test and the reality that I need to face, which failure is not even an option.

Adventure Bay here we come. Team Alpha is on the roll.

I'm glad I am down of the 3rd chapter, isn't that amazing?

I tried to write/type everyday but I am working and I am so busy with all the stuff.
