*Fast forward to the last day of school before Christmas break*

Sierra's POV

Beep. Beep. Beep. I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock. I roll over and push the button making it stop beeping. I look at the time, 6:00. I stumble out of bed and walk into my bathroom.

I peel off my clothes and jump in the shower. I take a quick shower, when I'm done I get out and dry off. I get my uniform on, blow dry my hair, and don't even bother to apply make up.

Today is the day I have been dreading since the day I found out that I was moving.

It was my last day of school before I moved three days later. I went downstairs and didn't bother eating either. I just grabbed my backpack and left.

When I got to school I was greeted by Sam, who gave me the biggest hug and walked with me to class. We talked the entire class period enjoying each other's company. Our teacher got mad at us a couple of times, but I didn't care. I was leaving soon, and I wanted to spend as much of my time with Sam as possible.

*fast forward to the end of the day*

I couldn't believe it was over. I was actually moving. I would barely ever see Sam or Janelle again. I said goodbye to all of my friends.

Sam and Janelle came over and helped me finish packing. When we were almost done, I was tired. "Want to watch a movie?"

The looked at each other and nodded yes.

"What movie?" Sam asked.

"How about a girly romantic movie?" I winked at Janelle.

She laughed, "Yes! How about Safe Haven?"

"I love that movie!" I yelled as I ran over to the tv and pulled up Netflix (we weren't leaving for a couple more days so out tv is still hooked up). After I started the movie, I grabbed a blanket and sat next to Sam on the love seat while Janelle laid down on the couch. He put his arm around me and pulled me close to his chest. I breathed in the smell of his cologne and fell asleep to the sound of his heart beat.

I woke up laying on the floor in my living room. I looked around and guess that Janelle and Sam left late last night, and I am a restless sleeper so I probably rolled off of the couch by myself. I laughed at the thought.

I walked into my room and looked around. There were so many amazing memories made in it. I let a couple tears spill onto my cheek but quickly wiped them away when my mom walked into my room.

"Honey, are you ready to load the boxes into the moving truck?"

"I guess" I replied with no emotion. I picked up a couple boxes and began putting them outside. When all of the boxes were loaded up, my family piled into the car.

I just stared out the window as I thought about my new life. How it will feel living over 2000 miles away from home.

Sierra's POV

(Btw it's around 10:00 on a Saturday morning)

"We're here!" I heard someone say. I slowly opened my eyes and shifted in my seat. Sleeping in the car isn't very comfortable. I climbed out of the car with the rest of my family.

I looked around and took in my surroundings. The first thing I noticed was our new house. It wasn't huge, but it was pretty nice. It was two stories. The entire outside of the house was stone, and the lawn surrounding it was beautiful green grass covered in a thin layer of dew.

Seeing this, I realized how cold it was. I was only wearing sweat pants and a tshirt. I hopped back into the car and pulled my hoodie on over my head.
