clips pushed into tangled hair / camaros that won't start / caves with singing sleepers / a family of psychics / road races / messy families with the same royal smile / fingers pressed against breastbones / obnoxiously bright polos and shorts / academy boys driving up in ferraris / dreamers / a farm full of sleepy boys and mothers made up / trailer parks / 'maybe there were two gods in this church' / latin teachers / demons / a forest that speaks the same language as a dreamer / little girls with hooved feet / mountains shrouded with mist / overalls / rifles / a raven that perches on the dreamer and his boyfriend's arms / sleeping sprawled out on sofas with dream lights floating overhead / curses / chapped lips / hornets / exchange students who never feel their vocabulary is wide enough / diplomas from bribes / chewing gum / helicopters / 'and in that moment, she swore she was a little in love with them all.' / flocks of students outside school / bands of friends / rowing club / eleven percent diversity / old factories lived in / apartments above churches / she can't kiss him he might die / rain splattered uniforms / wild hair / the old money of virginia / men and their daughters living as trees / dream languages
