"Oh it must be Leah, she has all of my stuff from our apartment." I recalled climbing off his lap and helped him up but I was clearly struggling

"Damn august your thick." I said making Chris burst out laughing, while august just glared before getting up from the grass

"I'm not thick, you are the thick one baby girl." He whispered wrapping his thick arm
around my waist, licking his dark
pink almost red lips

"I know." I replied looking up at him while rubbing my hand on his chest softly resulting
in him to growl softly and lean down to kiss me but I moved away from him

"Wait Chris do you understand the homework that's due tomorrow?" I hollered jogging up to Chris who was about 5 feet in front of us

"Fucking tease."

"I'll catch up with you guys, I have to deal with something real quick." Chris said before walking away toward the back of the pack house.

"Hey tease." August greeted me

"I'm not a tease."

"Sure whatever you say, who's Lea?"

"She's my best friend, we lived right since college and we both moved here together.
She's kinda crazy: I'm warning you." I added

"Bitch! This place is fucking lit! There is 4 bars in total here, how come I haven't been here yet?"

I look up to see Lea standing next to
her white Jeep Wrangler,

"So I'm guessing that's Lea." August whispered lowly next to me with a blank
look on his face.

A huge smile spread on my face, "yup, that's
my best friend."

Even thought she's crazy, I still love her.

"I missed you so much!" She squealed running up to me and tackling me in a hug resulting for both of us to fall into a heap on the grass.

August growled loudly and quickly grabbing her off me and getting her into a headlock,

 "Are you trying to kill her?!"

I screamed at the sight in front of me; I quickly stood up and grabbed his arms attempting to pry them off her, "What are you doing?! She's not trying to hurt me!"

August squinted his eyes at me; looking at me like I was crazy "She tackled you!"

"Yeah while hugging me!" I screamed at him--he looked at her then
back at me before letting her go.

She began to catch her breathe, her hands on her knees. I flashed over to her , rubbing her back soothingly. "Lea are you okay?"

She put one finger up, before standing fully up with a huge smile on her face.

Is she serious right now? She just got put into head lock and she's smiling?!

"Shy, I like him."

My eyes went fully wide, "Are you on drugs? He put you head lock!"

"What? I believe he'll protect you." She shrugged before turning back to august who
had a proud look on his face.

She extended her hand out to him, "Hello, my name is Lea Autumn and if you ever break Shiloh's heart--you're messing with me. The next time you put your hands on me, I'll guarantee you'll end up in the hospital again."

August looked at me then back to her, thinking about something before speaking

"The name is Alpha August West,
I'll never hurt Shiloh so you have
nothing to worry about. "He replied
shaking her hand

"I better not." She said letting go of his hand, then turning to me.

"So let's get your shit out of car." She smiled weakly with tears filling her mocha eyes

I pulled her into a hug and she sobbed into my shoulder, "Lea why are you crying?"

"Because you're leaving me."

I looked at august who was standing behind her, shaking his head already knowing what I was going to say to her

"You can stay here."

Lea gasped pulling her head from my shoulder, looking at me with wide eyes.

"Really?" She croaked wiping the
tears from her cheeks

I look up to see august, throwing his hands in the air and pulling his hair in frustration. He shook his head frantically; mouthing the word 'no!'

"Of course, august will get you a room."
