"I love you so much, you know that?" He chirped. I blushed, grabbed his hand and lead him to the fireplace, where we floo'd to the Ministry.

We literally spent hours in the Ministry, talking to different workers in different offices, and just explored it really. A couple jobs that interested us were Unspeakables, becoming parts of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement or Magical Games and Sport. We were heading down to the Floo networks, when someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around and saw Aunt Ginny and another lady.

"Oh, hello Aunt Ginny." I said. Ginny smiled at me.

"Hello Arabella, what're you doing here?" She asked. I scratched the back of my head.

"Elliot and I have decided to not become Aurors, and so we came to the Ministry to look for some other jobs that have openings." I exclaimed. She grinned even more.

"Well, you're in luck! I was just on my way over to your place actually." She paused and gestured to the lady next to her. "This is Samantha Barros, the current Captain of the Holyhead Harpies." I gawked.

"U-Um hello." I stuttered, while shaking her hand.

"Hello Arabella," She smiled. "Now, it is my understanding that you wanted to play quidditch after Hogwarts." She said.

"I would like too, but I didn't get scouted out, no one offered me a spot on their team." I explained. I looked over at Elliot who was completely shocked at the sight of Samantha.

"As Captain of the Holyhead Harpies, I would like you to come meet the team and maybe tryout for a spot. You see, our current seeker has just become pregnant, and now we don't have one.." She exclaimed. My heart beat faster and my smile became wider.

"I would love to come try out!" I said excitedly. She grinned.

"Look for my owl." She said before turning to Aunt Ginny. "It was good to see you again Gin."

The rest of our day consisted of talking about our exciting encounter at the ministry. "I-I just, I just can't believe it!" I said while resting my head on Elliot's leg. He chuckled.

"I'm so proud of you Bells!" He said while twirling a piece of my hair.

"What are you gonna do? You know, as your new career." He thought for a moment.

"I think I'll apply for a spot in the Department of Magical Games and Sports." He said. "Then maybe I'll be able to see you more." He explained. I smiled.

"Dinner's ready!" Draco called from in the kitchen. We got up and walked to the table.  A glorious meal was prepared and we all dug in. "So, what did you two do today?" Draco asked.

"We went to the Ministry and looked for openings. Then Arabella was asked by Samantha Borros-"

"The captain of the Holyhead Harpies?" Scorpius, Elliot's little brother, asked. Elliot nodded.

"Yes, her. Anyway, Samantha asked Arabella to tryout for the team!" Elliot exclaimed. I blushed while everyone congratulated me. I noticed that Astoria was giving her son a strange look. "I'm really proud of her." Elliot said while holding me hand.

"Thanks Elliot." I mumbled. Scorpius went on and on about the Holyhead Harpies, apparently he was a really big quidditch fan.

After dinner, Elliot and I went into the garden. We sat in comfortable silence when Elliot asked the strangest question. "Don't you want to stay like this forever?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, like this. Together, in love, perfect harmony." He explained. He turned to me and we locked eyes. "Do you want to spend the rest of your life with me?"

I was speechless for a while. Probably because of shock. "Are you indirectly proposing to me?" I asked. He smirked and took out a small box.

"Yea. I am." He said in his silky voice. "It's just an engagement ring." He explained, opening the box. "I mean,  I love you Arabellla, and I truly want to spend the rest of my life with you. We don't have to get married now, we can wait until your ready. I just-" But I cut him off with my lips. He leaned backwards until I was laying on his chest.

"That was the most awkward, perfect proposal ever." I said. He slipped the ring on my finger. "Did you know that when my dad was at Hogwarts-"

"He gave your mom a promise ring." He finished. I gave him a puzzled look. "Your dad told me when I asked for his blessing." I smiled at him.

"You asked for his blessing? That's so cute!" I gave him another kiss. "I think it's time for me to go.. It's almost eleven."

"Do you want me to come with you?" He asked. I shook my head.

"I know how to apparate. I'll see you soon." And with that, I apparated to my room with a smile on my face. I twirled the ring around my finger. I took my shoes off and went down the stairs to tell my dad the good news.

I stopped just before the doorway because I heard a bunch of new voices. "Have you told her yet Fred?" That voice was Harry. There was a groan.

"I don't know if I have the heart to tell her. She's already been through so much." My dad said.

"You have to tell her Fred! I mean, I can barely stand the news, but you can't take her by surprise." The female voice was Aunt Hermione.

"How am I supposed to tell my daughter that in probably less than two years, I'll be dead!" My dad shouted. I gasped. So much was racing through my mind. Dead?

"Did anyone just hear something?" Harry asked. I felt hot tears streaming down my face. I stepped out from behind the wall and everyone faced me.

"Tell me what you said isn't true." I whispered, my voice cracking with each word. "Tell me you aren't going to leave me dad. " There was silence.

"Arabella-" He started.

"I just got engaged dad! Tell me you'll still be alive for that. Tell me that you'll walk be able to walk your baby girl down aisle. Tell me you'll be able to see your grandchild. Tell me that you aren;t g-going to d-d-die!" I fell to the ground, completely losing it. I heard Hermione let out a sob at the sight of me and I felt arms around me, trying to calm me down.

But I ignored it. I ignored everything. I just wanted my dad to be with me forever.
