" Excuse us, can we speak with you for a moment?"
" Sure, what is it?"
" Was your father Daniel Riverflow?"
" What? How do you know my dad?"
" So we were right!"
" She looks so much like him, it's kinda scary." Stan
" You still haven't told me how you know him."
" We were classmates in grade school! Oh man, we were the three amigos back then. Danny was the trouble maker, I was the con artist, and Ford was the brains of the operation. Good times."
" I've wondered what had happened to him, how's he doing now?"
Did they not know? I thought humans knew gem news.
" Oh... um... he was kil... he passed a little while ago."
" Oh, I'm sorry. We had no idea..."
" No no, you're fine. There's no way you could've known."
" What did he end up doing anyway? He left Glass Shard with no word. He just... disappeared."
" Well, he moved down south to Huntersville, Yellowhammer to become an astronaut. Then he met my mom when his spaceship got lost in a black hole. Then I was born and my mom died. So it was me and my dad for a while before... yeah."
" Huh... space. He always loved space." Ford muttered to himself
" Yeah, he would be on the roof in the middle of the night looking at the sky. He was a cool guy."
" Welp, it might be time to head back. Kids! We're leaving soon, say goodbye to the colorful ladies and the other kids."
" Waat? We can't leave yet! You just got here! Don't you want to see the town?" Mabel said
" No, I don't like this hot weather, it's September. Not July." Stan retorted
" If it makes anything better, it gets colder Mr. Stan!"
" Maybe we could arrange a play date?"

" Huh? Bwahahah!" Everyone started laughing
" What? Did I say something wrong?"
" No offense P, but I'm sure these kids are a little old for that. Like how old are you?"
" 13." Dipper and Mabel said
" 14." Steven said
" 12." I said
" Wait you're 12?" Amethyst asked
" Yeah, I'm pretty sure I've told you this."
" When? I don't remember."
