Ally's POV:It was three days later. Austin, Emily and I have been hanging out for the passed three days. I guess you can say that Austin and Emily have gotten closer in the matter of time. Although, I haven't told Emily about Austin being her dad and all, I think that when I do she'd be happy with it. I just think that it'd be a little too early to tell her.
I fall back into my bed. Today was the day of the first part of the singing competition. It starts at 8 and right now it was... I look over to the alarm clock on my nightstand. It read '6:45'. So I had about an hour to get ready.
Just then, there was a knock on my door. "Come in."I tell the person.
And it was my mom.
"Ally, you should start getting ready. And I'll get Emily ready."She says.
Emily was currently on my bedroom floor, watching Blue's Clues on the TV.
I nod, as my mom picks up Emily, and leaves the room.
I stand up and walk over to my closet. I open the doors, and whilst skimming over the clothes inside. There were a variety of choices. Jeans, Skirts, Dresses, Shirts. I couldn't decide. I sigh, before I reevaluate my clothing. I decide on a light blue colored High-Low Dress, and Black Booties.
After I place my dress onto the bed, with my shoes sitting on the floor next to the bed, I walk into my bathroom.
I undress, and step into the shower before letting the warm water hit my body.
...
I step out of the shower, and wrap the towel around my body.
My hair was dripping wet since I just shampooed it.
I dry my hair, with my towel and get dressed. I took out my hair straightener and straightened down my Ombre hair, curling the tips.
I look over at the clock again it read '7:25'.
"Ally, we're gonna be late come on!"I hear my dad yell.
"Coming, coming!"I shout back, so that he could hear me.
I put some of my makeup into my clutch with my phone, since I'm not gonna be able to do it now.
Once I walk down the stairs, I see My parents waiting for me.
"You look beautiful, honey."My dad compliments.
"Thanks dad."
My mom dressed Emily into a floral dress. It was cute.
"Ready to go?"My mom asked and I nodded.
"Yep. I'll do my makeup in the car."
And with that My Parents, Emily, Danielle, and I left out.
....
We were in the school's auditorium. Well, my parents, Danielle and Emily were. I was with the other students- or should I say contestants, in the back.
"How are you feeling, Ally?"Cat asks.
"Nervous as hell."I say, with a slight chuckle.
"There's nothing to be nervous about, you'll do great."Jade assures.
"I just hope this turns out good."I tuck a piece of hair behind my ear.
"It will."Cat says.
"Hey Ally."Austin greets me with a hug.
"Hey Austin."I reply, pulling out of the hug.
"What-"I was cut off by the music teacher.
"They show is starting, Jade and Cat, you're up first. Let's go!"She informs.
"We'll see you in a bit."Cat says, walking away.
"Good luck!"I yell over to them, as they walk onto stage.
"Wanna go watch with me?"I ask, looking up at Austin, and he nods.
We walk over to the curtain, just as they start.
"Lights!"The music teacher, Ms. Rose yells.

Cat finishes.
They were amazing. They were freaking phenomenal, and i'm not even exaggerating it. If anything, i'm a bit more nervous now. The crowd clapped, astonished by their performance and so was I. Jade and Cat were really talented.
"That was amazing!"Austin said to Jade and Cat, once they came back from the stage.
"Yeah. You did absolutely wonderful, oh my god."I add.
"Thank you."Jade and Cat both said in usion.
"My brother use to sing. But everytime he did my cat bit him."Cat giggles.
Austin gave me a werided out face, but I was already use to Cat saying things like this.
"Was your brother okay?"Austin asks.
"No, he had to go to the doctor... The doctors name was George.."Cat says, giggling again. She was one strange child.
"Ally Dawson, you're next."Ms. Rose informed.
I nod.
"Good luck out there."Jade says.
"Break a leg."Tori says, walking up to us.
"You'll do great, Ally. Knock 'em dead."Austin encourages to me.
"Thanks guys."
"Ally, you're up!"Ms. Rose yells from across the room.
I'm so not ready for this.
But It's now or never.
As I start to walk off, Austin gently grabs me by the wrist.
"You look beautiful, by the way."He whispers into my ear, and I could instantly feel my cheeks heat up.
I mumble a quick 'thanks', before scrambling onto stage.
There were alot of people.
Alot of parents, family, and friends and classmates were here. Either for some of us students, or just to see it.
I walk into the middle of the stage, where the microphone was.
"I'm Ally Dawson. And this is City Lights."I announce.

Once I finished, everyone gave me a standing ovation. It was surprising. Everyone were clapping. My parents and Danielle were cheering for me.
As soon as I get into the back I see people waiting for me.
"You were amazing."Austin says, pulling me into a hug.
"You sounded awesome."Trish says.
"That was incredible."Jade and Cats muffled voices said, while I was hugging Austin.
"That was the best performance yet."Tori admitted.
I pull out of my hug with Austin.
"Gee thanks."I say with a smile, glad that they liked it.
"Austin over here!"We all turn our heads, to see Lexi waving over Austin.
"I'll be back."Austin mumbles, making his way over to her.
"He looks miserable with her."Trish suddenly says.
"Huh?"I say confused.
"When he's with her. When he with her he seems miserable."She repeats.
"If he was miserable with her, I don't think he'd be with her Trish."I tell her.
"Maybe he's with her because he can't have the one he truly wants.. Or to keep his popularity up. Doesn't matter, he doesn't look happy with her. And I wouldn't be surprised if he doen't want to be with her."She openly admits.
Jade, Tori and Cat nod in agreement.
"They only girl I saw him truly happy with was.... well you, Ally."Trish says.
