she work up in haze,
not remembering much of the night.
all she think about,
was the fact that she wasn't home,
but her father was.
all she could think about,
was what would happen to her after she would go back home.
he was still asleep as she shuffled through her things.
she was panicking now,
in silent tears.
because she was scared.
she knew her father would never lay a hand on her,
but she also knew that he wasn't afraid to say things to her,
things that would kill her inside,
knowing she would never be good enough.
her phone started ringing, again and again,
and then it stopped.
she looked at the screen of her phone, reading

she clicked the screen.
