now she was the only one you would notice.
and finally you mustered up the courage to say hi.
she just smiled at you.
that heart stopping smile.
and then you walked away.
but all she could think about was you.
and she got her hopes up.
just like she always did.
so she thought that maybe, just maybe,
you wouldn't be like the rest.
you would be different.
and you would save her.
that you would save her from herself.
she hoped.
and that was something she almost never did.
but if she knew what you were going to do to her,
she would've tried to save herself from you.
