Chapter 1

"I can't believe you broke up with Stefan" Caroline frowned at her best friend as she shut her locker, Elena rolled her eyes then glared at the blonde her fingers gripping her backpack strap "Care he was cheating on me, with Rebekah of all people! I mean me and her have been basically competing against eachother since we were old enough to walk!" she sighed annoyed then tucked her dark hair behind her ears as she looked around the hallway of the school, she had just found out at her birthday party of all places her boyfriend of almost two years was sleeping with Rebekah Mikaelson who Elena had hated since elementary school when Rebekah broke her favorite doll because she had wanted it and when Rebekah wanted something she got it however she didn't get Elena's doll so Rebekah got pissed and during recess she broke her doll into a billion pieces and yes her doll was glass,  it was from her grandmother.
"I know and that sucks it does but he's sorry and he wants you and only you" Caroline frowned, Elena shook her head and sighed "I'm done Caroline he cheated I can't forgive that" she whispers as the blonde huffs "but he's your epic love" Caroline frowned and placed a hand on Elena's shoulder "hey Barbie don't you have someone else to annoy?" Elena couldn't help but smile at the mans voice she knew so we'll, "go away Damon this conversation is for adults only" Caroline hissed and the dark haired Salvatore laughed and slung his arm around Elena's shoulder "let me guess this is about my baby brother sleeping with Barbie slut?" He winked and Elena laughed softly making Caroline roll her eyes "it was an accident " she crossed her arms and Damon scoffed "so his penis accidentally fell into her vagina giving her orgasams? Okkkayyyy....anyways I'm blowing last period you should come with me Elena live dangerously be a little naughty" he smirked wiggling his eyebrows, and she blushed then looked at her friend "absolutely not we have midterms and Elena would never do that, especially with you!" She seethed making Elena roll her brown eyes "I..." Elena frowned on one hand she knew it was completely wrong and her family and friends hated Damon he was the senior bad boy, but on the other she didn't care she wanted to have fun she was sick of being sweet, innocent little Elena she bit her lip and sighed "I'm skipping Care, I can't live like perfect little happy Elena anymore it's to boring so yeah imbgoing..." she mumbled then looked at Damon "so where are we going?" She smiled ignoring her best friend ranting at her about failing and her parents grounding her , "amusement park in Richmond.. It's to die for... " he grinned and led her to his car then opened the passenger door, Elena didn't know why everyone hated him well she kind of did he was a jerk and used to go through the women like a dog went through bones, but then he stopped for a while when he dated his last girlfriend Katherine the queen bitch of Mystic Falls, they dated for two years and then Damon ended it, and Katherine started turning people against him saying he was a cheater, he hit her, he never took her anywhere but his bedroom stuff like that then Damon started sleeping around not settling on any girl.
"So whose the girl tonight? " Elena teased as he got into the car "no one I haven't slept with anyone in a few weeks or more" he shrugged then smirked and sped out of the school parking lot "really?  Stefan said you had Andi over the other night" she watched him roll his eyes and shake his head "no I didn't he had Rebekah over but I haven't slept with airhead since last month last I heard she was sleeping with Matt" he grumbled and Elena frowned looking over at him "you knew and didn't tell me?" She whispers and Damon sighed "would you have believed me?" Elena felt like a fish out of water and as if it had proven his point he nodded and smiled "I hate you found out the way you did, especially on your brothers bed and on your birthday" he shook his head and made a gagging noise "yeah Jer literally burned those sheets no kidding their ashes in our barbeque pit I think he burned them twice" she smiled remembering Jeremy wearing gloves as he carried the sheets out then dumped lighter fluid all over them and threw a match on them she shook her head and he laughed as he put his window down.
"Okay enough depressing cheating talk we're having fun today you know f-u-n" he spelled out and winked making her smile "you do know what fun is right? " he smirked and she smacked his arm playfully "yes I know what fun is I just really never got to have any " she shrugged and peered out her window,  Damon scoffed and looked at her then back at the road "stick with me and you'll have more fun then you'll ever know" he smirked wiggling his eyebrows making her blush then laugh "your an idiot " she teased making him wink as he looked over at her "for you I'll be anything " he grinned making Elena laugh again how was it Damon could always make her laugh when she didn't really want to?
Her and Damon had been friends since he beat up Tyler Lockwood in preschool for taking her cookie, she giggled at the thought making him raise an eyebrow "problem Lena? " he grinned and she shook her head "I was just thinking about preschool when you snuck in for snack time from kindergarten and Tyler took my cookie and you neat poor Tyler up and poured his milk on him" she laughed at the memory and he smirked then winked "I had to defend my lady" he teased then smiled "besides it got me a week out of school bad part a sore ass from pops" he mumbled shaking his head then turned the radio on "change of subject we are going to ride some rides eat some shitty park food and have real fun so prepare Gilbert! " he grinned finally settling on a song and Elena couldn't help but think of them.
