It was a cold, Sunday night. Jessica Koling, a 16 year old girl from Toronto, Canada was sitting in her room, looking at a boy who cheated on her 26 months into their relationship. She sat in her queen sized bed, staring at her phone. On it, was a picture of her and him. Him being her ex Brian. Brian was her first love, her only love she's ever known. She thought him and her were perfect for each other, she thought they were crazy in love. Brian however felt differently. Two months after their two year anniversary, Jessica found out he had slept with the "school slut" Ashley Crowling. A day later, Brian broke up with Jessica.

Jessica was devastated. The past week she has cried herself to sleep wondering why she wasn't good enough. The issuemwasn't that she wasn't good enough, it was that Brian was just some guy wanting sex. Just like every other guy in the world. Atleast that's what Jessica thought. Another issue was that Jessica craved love. She craved it like it was an addiction, like it was some sort of drug. She felt like she needed love, like she couldn't live with out it. She sat there with tears, dripping down her face. They started to fall on her phone. She sits there for twenty minutes, tears running down her face like a waterfall over him. She misses him even after what he did to her. She's hurt, she feels worthless.

There was a loud knock on her door. It was her mother. Her mother comes into the room, as Jess quickly wipes the tears in her face away, trying to make sure her mother doesn't notice she's crying. Her mother doesn't know what Brian did or why they broke up, at least not the true reason. Jessica had told her mother they drifted apart so Jessica ended it however this was not the case. Her mother came into the room with folded laundry in her hand. Jessica stood up, and proceeded toward the door to use the washroom. Her mother, putting away the laundry into Jess' dresser quickly saw the makeup smudged under her daughters eyes.

"What's wrong?" She asks quickly.

"Nothing, I just had something in my eye." Replies Jess, as she quickly vanishes into the bathroom and locks the door.

Once the door was closed Jess quickly started crying again, this time wanting to scream into the air. She felt as if the world around her was crashing down. She felt lost, lonely, she felt hurt and most importantly, she felt worthless. She doesn't think anyone else will ever love her the same. It's been only a week and she can't imagine the pain ahead of her. She washed her make up off her face and went back into her room. There, lying in the corner of her room was Brian's red Nike sweater. She cried again. She remembered taking his sweater a year ago, and wearing it nearly everyday. She picked it up off ground. She brought it up to her face, it was soft, and smelled like Brian's cologne that she missed so much. She continued crying. She wiped her face with the sweater and threw it back into the corner. She got undressed and got into her bed, cried some more then later on passed out...
