Fah'syrah's POV

Q kept pulling out his phone checking it. I peeped some girls name and it had emojis and shit beside it. It had to be his girlfriend, but he didn't hide it. He didn't flinch when I looked at his phone or anything, he just checked and kept it going. I was amazed at that, he was so real. I was already treating whatever this was, like he was mine. We had hit up a frat party and it was live. The music was jamming and soon as we stepped in, you know me and my girls, had to show out. We danced and had every nigga in there wanting to dance, the DJ slowed it down and dropped a slow jam. It was Keith Sweat's Nobody. I pushed off several niggas just to walk over to the couch and grab Q. It looked like this girl named Jazmir was about to dance with him but not tonight, I snatched him up and pushed him back on the wall. I started grinding all up on him, and he let his hands roam. I felt like i was in pure heaving and it felt like Q felt the same from what I felt behind me.  The song felt like it was never going to end but it finally did. The DJ sped the music back up, but Q didn't let me go.

"You ain't gone let me go, huh?" I turned around and asked him. He was smiling harder then a dike in a all women's lock up.

"Why would I?" He hollered over the music, "why I want you dancing on somebody else the way you just danced on me?"

I had him sold now, but we had to get out of here to go talk. I had to think fast, "let's go somewhere quiet and talk."

"Where?"

"Come on."

I grabbed his hand and we walked out of the party down to the memory fountain. I sat on a rock, and he sat down beside me.

"You was feeling me up in that party, huh?" He asked with some confidence.

"And if I was? What that mean? You gotta girl, right?"

"I do....no reason to lie."

I liked that he came right out and told me, I wasn't mad that he told me. I was more mad that he had a girl. I grabbed his hand and he looked at me. Q felt different, his demeanor, his presence it brought something to me. Q was cold, his hands were cold on this hot ass summer night he was cold as ice. Atleast his hands were. My father had always told me, stay away from people that were cold, it meant they were evil. Even Q had something evil about him, I had to have him. My phone started buzzing, and i pulled it out. It was my father trying to facetime me. He had prolly just landed back in Jamaica. I would call him back tomorrow. I was to preoccupied with this man in front of me. This tall, buff, caramel, wavy head looking man. He had those deep waves the kind you just wanted to run your fingers through, and a smile that just melted your panties right off.

"How old are you if you don't mind me asking?" He asked smiling at me again

"I'm 23, you?"

"I'm 22, ima youngin. But i'm the oldest out of my boys."

"So you like the leader, huh?"

"Just the big dawg, everybody a boss in their own right."

"I can feel you on that."

It seemed like our night was going perfect until I saw Devin running down the hill like somebody was chasing him.

"Q! We gotta go man, somebody shot KeShon!! Come on!"

"What? What do you mean Dev? What? Slow down...." Q looked at me and back at Devin. Devin was panicking. His breath was getting caught up and he couldn't even manage to get his breath out.

"Check your phone, Malik said they been calling you. We gotta go, NOW!!" Devin dragged Q off and they hauled ass.

I met up with Nisha, while they were on the way out and asked her what was going on.

"What happened?"

"Girl, I really don't know. We were chilling and Dev got a call. He said KeShon had been shot and started looking for Q."

I shook my head, and started walking back to my girl Jan's room, once we got in there we spread out on the floor and started having girl talk.

"Syrah, I saw you dancing on ol boy tonight, is that Daddy or some?" My girl Chyna asked.

"Yea girl, cause I was finna put it on that nigga when the DJ played Chris Brown Sex," Akiya said.

"Yea that's Daddy now, and i'm glad you didn't Akiya, cause I'd hate to pull ya tracks out."

The girls laughed but I was dead serious, Nisha caught me. "Look at sis, all in love and shit."

"Not yet, girl, but maybe soon. He's different. I really do like him, matter of fact. Ima call him and check on him."

I did just that but no answer, Nisha even called Dev and still no answer. I was worried about him. I really did hope he was okay.
