love's light

i have never been able

to hide the way i feel

just one look into my eyes

and you know what is real

some say its embarrassing

they feel sorry for me

me, i would rather be honest

that hide my feelings eternally

many times you only get one chance

and what would you rather do

keep it all inside

or see, if they really are, into you

i say let it all hang out there

because you just never know

it could be a horrible disaster

and you can't wait to go

or

it could be that magical moment

when two souls unite

when hands touch and lips meet

and you are basked in love's light
