Forever And Always **Sequel to From Two Different Worlds**

A New Beginning

"I know you guys are twins, but fraternal twins.. and that's just creepy." Madeline said. Elliot groaned and rubbed his head.

"Um. Toby, outside, now." I said. He floated through the door and I followed. (not floating of course) "Toby what the hell was that!" I whispered.

"How am I supposed to know! I don't even know who Moony is!" He whispered back.

"What the hell is wrong with us! Everything was going so well!" I said. He nodded in agreement.

"What about the women's voice?" He asked. I already knew who that voice was.

"That was mum." I replied. He groaned. "Yea I know, I don't know what's going on."

"Maddie, stop this right now!" Lily hissed. I just shook my head. "There is nothing you can do! It's already done!" She snapped. I again shook my head and stormed out the door. What we were fighting about again was Fred. Fred, Fred, Fred! I was arguing that there is something I have to do to save him but everyone argued that I just have to let him die. I can't just let him die though! He is the only parent to our daughter and son. They wouldn't know what to do with out him!

And not only that, but everyone would be devastated, especially George.

I sat by the well In Godric's Hollow. Steven, the shadow, showed up and sat next to me. "Hey Steven. I mumbled. He gave me a weak smile.

"I know your upset-"  He started but I just started crying. Something I haven't done in a while. "Oh Maddie. I hate to see you upset." He groaned.

"It's just, my life has been an emotional rollercoaster. Too many people have died, and I've personally lost to many people. And I can't stand here and do nothing while Fred just dies."

"If it helps, he's got a little more than a year." Steven said. I looked him in the eyes. "I mean, he's got a year before the potion starts working and the Dragon Pox actually takes affect. Just keep that memory in mind." He said. I smiled. He got up and dusted himself off. "Well, I've got to go. Duty calls." He said. And in an instant, he disentigrated into a black shadow.

I sat by the well when I heard footsteps behind me. "If you're here to argue with me, can you just please leave." I said. Someone sat next to me and I looked over.

"Hello Maddie." He said.

"Hi Remus." I grumbled. We sat in comfortable silence. "Do you think I'm overreacting?" I asked. He nodded. "Remus, didn't you ever love someone? You know, before Tonks. "

"No." He said quietly. I gaped at him.

"Oh come on! There has to be someone!" I said, nudging him. "Maybe someone who was at Hogwarts with you?"

He shook his head. "I couldn't get close to anyone at Hogwarts. It was too dangerous." He explained. "My 'furry little problem' was too dangerous back then, that's why I was so hesitant at James and Sirius when they wanted to become animagus."

"So you made yourself just forget about everything, all the lovey-dovey stuff. All the feelings that you probably felt towards someone?"

"It was what was best for them." He said. "And she was happily married later on in life." 

Silence returned to us and I put my head on my shoulder. "So what you're indirectly saying is that even though I have a problem I have to not interfere because what eventually happens is for the best?" I asked.

"Erm.. Sure.." He said. I smiled and got up. I helped him up. He began to walk away when I called out to him.

"Who was it? The girl, I mean." He walked back towards me.

"You can't tell anyone." He whispered. I nodded. "Her name? Lily."

I almost pissed my pants. "What! oh my god!" I shouted.

"Calm down!" He hissed. I smiled broadly at him. 

"I will not calm down Moony!" I did lower my voice though. "I'm sorry that you guys couldn't work out." I told him. He shrugged.

"It doesn't matter now, I have Tonks, and I love her." I grinned at him.

"Oh my goodness!" I squealed. Elliot woke up suddenly with his wand already drawn. "Woah! Elliot, calm down. I just realized something." Without another word I left the compartment to go find James.

He was with a bunch of his obnoxious friends. I slid open their compartment and they all looked at me. James, trying to act slick, rolled his eyes. "What're you doing here?" He snapped.

I turned to his friends. "Out of the compartment. Now." I said menacingly. They all left, and James and I were alone.

"Whatcha do that for!" He hissed.

"Give me the map." I told him.

"Um, no? That's my map." He said. I sighed.

"James Sirius Potter you give me that map! It's really important!" I exclaimed. He shook his head. "Fine, I'll tell Aunt Ginny and Harry that you took it with them even knowing." He handed over the map. "I solemly swear that I am up to no good."

Ink sprawled out on the page and my suspiciouns were confirmed. "Thanks Jamsie." I said, tossing back the map.
