I'm not sure where I am.
Everything is dark and light. Nothing is dark or light. Everything is nothing, nothing is everything.
Cadmus is here. I can feel him with me, in me, around me, as me. We are one here.
Is this death? I don't know. All I know is that I am with the other half of me. I am complete.
Light blinds me. People surround me, their faces crowding mine. I cry out, in fear and excitement, and soon a kind woman looks down at me. "Portia." She whispers to me, kissing my forehead. "Welcome to the universe, my love."
Cadmus and Callisto are no more. There were stories back on Mars, that when soulmates died at the same time they were reborn together. Intertwined and intermixed as one. Callisto and Cadmus make Portia. I am them.
And one day, I'll do what they couldn't and bring peace to this system.
