November is back
This vulnerable month
Of overflowing thanksgivings,

And everything is falling,
Even time, as we pose as masters
Over time itself and wrangle
Its hands as if an hour
Never happened, never existed,
(Daylight Savings Time, everyone)
But the things I can't shake away
Are the handfuls of leafs
(Yes, leafs) that aren't yet dead to me

And I wonder how long it'll take
Until I'm sure that I'm good

Why? Cause I wouldn't be surprised
