Part 8: I'm Sorry

Ivy's P.O.V

My phone starts ringing I pick it up and look at the caller I.D "hey Cat whats up?" I say into the phone "hey Red, I just wanted to let you know that Jade wont be at school tomorrow or the day after that" Selina says "oh why?" I say, I hear her sigh on the other side of the phone and say "she got suspended for 2 days" "what?why"  I say Selina sighs and says "she got into a fight with some girl" I sigh and say "oh wow i'm sorry Cat" "yah its fine I mean I'm a little bit angry at her for getting into the fight but I'm more angry at this Sasha girl, apparently she egged Roxy and that's why Jade confronted her and Jade told me she asked Sasha why she did it and she said because it was fun" I sigh and say "wow Sasha really? She's Roxy's ex-girlfriend and I didn't even know, that happened to" I hear Selina sigh over the phone and say "oh wow her ex that's strange and yah I only found out today that's why I called you" I chuckle and say "well thanks Cat" I hear the door open and see Roxy walk in "anyways I gotta go Roxy just walked in" "okay bye Red" I smile and say "bye" I hang up the phone and walk over to greet my daughter. "Hiya ma" she says I smile and give her a hug she hugs me back and walks to the living room "were mom" she says as she sits down on the couch l I walk over and sit beside her "your mom went to buy dinner" she smiles and says "okay, oh and ma do you know were Jade is I haven't seen her all day?" I smile and say "look sweetie we need to have a conversation" she sighs and says "am I in trouble?" I smile and say "no no your not, something has just come to my attention regarding your ex girlfriend to I have to tell you what it is or do you want to explain?" Roxy sighs and says "yah okay, so Sasha told me she wanted to apologize to me for being a bitch and so me being the dumb ass person that I am went to meet her and then her friends ambushed me and threw eggs at me" I sigh and say "sweetie you should have told me or your mom" she starts to tear up and I pull her closer to me and say "its okay your gonna be okay I promise" she stops crying and I wipe away her tears "wait but where's Jade?" she questions I smile sympathetically and say "she confronted Sasha and got suspended for 2 days" Roxy's eyes go wide and she says "I need to go see her" I smile and say "okay you can go over now if you like,your moms gonna be home soon and I'm gonna fill her in on everything" Roxy nods she then gives me a hug and leaves.

Roxy's P.O.V

I start to walk over to Jades place why would she do that? She knows the pull that Sasha and her family have at the school. I arrive at Jades house and knock on the door Jades mom answers "hi Selina is Jade home?" I question she smiles and says "yah come on in she's in her room" I step inside and head to Jades room, I knock on the door "who is it?" Jade says "its me Roxy" I say "oh come on in" Jade says I walk into her room and smile when I see her,I go and sit beside her on her bed and say "hey how are you?" she shrugs her shoulders and says "I'm okay I guess" I frown and say " my mom told me that you got suspended for fighting Sasha,why would you do that ?" she looks at me and says "I wanted to protect you, I'm so sick and tired of her treating you like shit" I look down and say "I know I'm tired of it to but its my problem not yours and I don't want you to get hurt because of me"Jade stands up and starts pacing she stops and looks at me "don't you get it? I would do anything to keep you safe and that includes getting my self suspended" I look up at Jade, tears welling up in my eyes and I say "why?" she smiles and says "because your my best friend and I love you" I smile and walk over to her, I give her a hug and whisper "I love you to"

Jades P.O.V

"I love you to" Roxy whispers in my ear,a single tear rolls down my face as I realize that she will never love me as much as I love her. We pull away and I quickly wipe the tear away from my face " I should probably get home now" Roxy says I furrow my brow and say "why so soon?" she smiles and says "I have to help my mum with something" I smile and say okay I will see you soon right?" she nods and says "um yah for sure gotta go bye" she then walks away and I am left in my room thinking about her.

Roxys P.O.V

I walk out of Jades house rather quickly. I have these really strange feelings for her all of a sudden and it doesn't feel like they are best friend feelings, it feels more like a crush, no I cant have a crush on my best friend, that would ruin our relationship. I start to slow down my pace and think maybe it could work maybe we could make a relationship work I mean I love her and I know she loves me so maybe it could work? But why am I thinking about my best friend like this? I just want to know what it would feel like to be close to her and for some reason I think these feelings have always been there but I was to afraid to admit it. Who am I kidding even if I wanted to be in a relationship with her it wouldn't work because there is no way that she likes me right?
