so i used to read fanfiction alll the time, but now i'm not so into it anymore. so when i come across what seems to be a really cool story on wattpad i'll read the description and it sounds SO GREAT, then i'll see the tags and it'll be

if you truly have the talent to write a real book, i feel like you shouldn't be wasting all these amazing ideas on fanfiction.
not that fanfiction is bad i'm just saying
there's a lot of great writers out there with such incredible ideas that have the potential of being published authors
wouldn't you love to know that other people are appreciating your work for something more than just an obsession with a band?
(okay i am obsessed with bands too i get you fr, it's so easy to get attached like ah, but i'm just explaining oki)
