Chapter 1: I Feel Like Im In Degrassi

"Hi mom, hi dad!" There was no answer, that wasn't a shocker. They're never home, Mom and Dad are both entrepreneurs, and very successful entrepreneurs. My house was nothing but big empty space full of maids, butler's, cooks, and whatever else. My parents has quite the luxury home. Throwing my keys on my counter, I grabbed a seat on the bar stool rubbing my temples.

"Dylan?" I look up and see the cook Betty. "What is it?" I say with cruel voice that berry doesn't deserve. 

"Your mom had called she said that their working late." Betty informs me.

"Thank you Betty, can you bring me a glass of water, I'll be in my room." I walk upstairs into my room. I start working on my homework, and text Nicholas.

I did not reply back I just left it like that. I've been in a bad mood all day today because my teacher gave me a 95% on my history test. This frustration cause my head to pound. I don't really have enough energy to do my homework. Knowing the person I am I'm not going to let a minor headache stop me from doing my homework. Never once have I missed a day of school, or missed one homework. My father always makes sure that I'm on top of everything, to make sure I don't bring shame to the family name. During gym class, while playing dodge ball my glasses broke. I think I've asked the school about fifty time to eliminate the God awful game. You would think they listen by now. I walked almost all day half blind because my extra pair was in my room.    I was clinging on either of three of my best friends; Leo, Kim and lily. I barely got to see my boyfriend Nick. Hes so sweet, adorable, gentle and so caring. Theres nothing more I could ask of him. We've been together for 3 years, I'm hoping to marry him one day. Im pretty positive that he wants to marry me one day.

My life is really tight, its school, plan for college, and etc, I hardly even have time for Nick. Dad wants me to become like him and mom but I got my eyes set on other goals. I'll get my master and bachelor's degree in standford studying child philosophy, and then move to New York and get in Manhattan and study dance, and drama. Dad doesn't like that plan but its not his choice.

I take a shower and get into bed dreaming about what I usually dream about, me being attacked by something.

The next morning I awake and start getting ready for school. "Do you really got to dress like a dork?" My dumb cousin loves making remarks about me.

"I dont - I dont dress like a dork."

"Your wearing knee socks, plaid skirt, a sweater vest and a tie. Boner killer." Anthony can be the worst person ever.

"When are you leaving?"

"Today see you cuz!" I roll my eyes and look at my outfit, its not that bad, ughh. Walking out the front door with an apple in my hand, I hop into my car and drive off.

The only part I hate about going to school is finding a parking spot where somebody doesn't scratch my car. Dad said he'll ring my neck if I ever did any damage to my car. Its his favorite car An Audi R8. They cost so munch money I could buy a bank. Its ridiculous how money is wasted in my family. When I was a freshman people would make jokes like 'she so rich 50 bucks is couch money.' Or 'how is she rich she obviously cant afford a mirror, do you think shes jewish?' And no im not Jewish.

I walk into photography club grabing my camera, there only about 8 months 'till school ends and I run yearbook for 3 years straight going on 4. Im also in charge of the school blog. So videos and pictures go up there. After that, I head to my locker. When I got to my locker I saw the most horrifying person ever. Mckenzie Hollister. The most popular,hottest, and evil person in this entire school. And unfortunately my locker is right next to her.

"Hey why are you sta-" Lily stops in the middle of her sentence after seeing what I'm transfixed on. We walk slowly to my locker trying not to disturb Mckenzie.

"Just because you walk slowly doesn't mean I can't sense you." Mackenzie slams her locker and walks away.

"What just happened?" Kim asks me and lily.

"Yea why does Dylan look like if she saw Jack the giant slayer?" leo asks lilly.

"She ran into McKenzie again." lilly explains to leo.

"Dammit Dylan why dont you just change your locker? " leo asks harshly.

"No." I say sternly. "No, this has been my locker since freashman year, I'm not going to let her walk right over me." I say trying to be brave.

"You have to be the Hollywood bolivar because she's been walking right over for 3 years." Leo says. Leo the tough one in our clique, she pushes us to do things we would never do. Well not me, I'm a stay home gal. I close my locker and tell the girls I'll see them at lunch.

Classes went pretty fast, next thing I know its already lunch. I dont eat lunch, I bring my lunch from home. Today I brought a Ham and Cheese sandwich. I never bring peanut butter and jelly because im alergic to both of them. I'm alergic to alot of things really. I saw Nick, Leo, Kim, And Lilly all sitting at our usal table.

"Hey guys." I take a seat next to Nick. Then Nick scooted over. "What's wrong?" I ask him scooting next him. He scooted more, I scooted closer, he scooted away, and I scooted closer. Nick tried to scoot over more but he end up falling off the bench.

He got up and said "Dylan we need to talk."

I said, "Okay?"

"I've been doing alot of thinking and I want us to br-" but before Nick can finish there was a loud 'Nicky' from across the cafeteria. Next thing Mckenzie runs up to Nick and kiss inappropriate infront of everybody. When they finally pulled apart I was still in an intial shock.

Mckenzie steps closer to me wiping the Slavia off her lips with her finger then placing in her mouth. Disgusting. then she finally said "Why you look so shock, Nicky didn't tell you about our night yesterday?" I shake my head. "Nicky and I are a thing now."

"Why would you do this to me?" I ask Nick.

"You did this to yourself. " Nick says to me I dont know how. I loved Nick for 3 years, how can he throw me away like that. and in the corner of my eye and Leo recording the whole thing. I walk up to leo and snatch the camera from her hands and run into the girls bathroom.

Why is everyone treating me like this? I thought everybody liked me. I dont deserve this. I love Nick, I love him so munch that why it hurts. It hurts badly. I remember watching those stupid Degrassi shows, and thinking that could never happen to me, I feel like im in A Degrassi episode.
