Chapter 1: What are you?

"What are...you?" I asked, my voice quavering from fear. My lower back pressed on the bar, causing pain to take over but I didn't want to be close to it. That thing. "Try and guess.." The man said, his mouth moving and pierced his lip with his sharp fangs. I shivered as I breathed heavily, my heart pounding through my chest. He moved closer to me as I stepped backwards, pressing my back further into the bar. "I'm guessing that you know what I am don't you pretty girl? Now give me what I want" he growled as his eyes flashed a brighter red. He walked closer to me until he was standing face-to-face with me. He breathed onto my face as his fangs stood sharp in front of me. "Please..let me go, I have to go right now" I pleaded to him and he just chuckled deeply and then faced me with a serious look on his face. "I was going to bite you and have you as my meal but...you're different, you're something new to me" he said slowly and my eyebrows crashed together with confusion. "Come with me, human" the man said and then started walking away, into an alleyway. I got off the bar and breathed out, puffing a large amount of air out of my mouth. I stepped forward and the man turned his head to me. "Come on" he said loudly and then started walking into the darkness again. I sighed and then ran forward, following him into the dark.

We arrived at a dusty old looking den out in the woods. I looked over at the man, who just walked into the building holding open the door for me to enter. I looked up at his face as I entered the building. His eyes were now dark brown and his teeth were straight again, no fangs out anymore. As soon as the man closed the door, three men appeared in front of me. "Good work Taehyung, you got a good one" one of the guys said and I looked over the man, called Taehyung. "She's not food" Taehyung answered back with a low growl. "Well why in the name of hell is she here? She's your "friend"?" The other man asked sarcastically. I just stood near the door, my eyebrows crashed together with confusion. I watched as Taehyung and the three guys argued. Then a man appeared in front of me, he looked...caring? "Yes I'm very caring, I can look after you" the man said and I just looked at him. "H-How?" I questioned, stuttering halfway through my question. I was so confused. "I'm a mind reader vampire so I can read minds, as you can tell...my name is Seokjin or just Jin is fine" the man said again and then held out his hand. I put my hand forward and shook his hand softly. Careful not to trigger him or something. When the handshake ended, I put my arm back to my side and stepped backwards. Jin's eyes were...yellow? I was even more confused. "J-Jin?" I asked, my voice was quiet and shaken. He suddenly shook his head and his eyes turned back to its normal brown colour. He apologised and then lead me out of the room and into another one. It was a baby blue walled room with a white carpet spread out across the wooden flooring. The furniture was all black and their was a burning fire in the fireplace. Jin sat down on the couch and patted the space next to him. I hesitated before sitting down next to him. "So what's your name?" Jin asked when I sat down on the couch. "(Y-Y/N)" I said, my voice was quiet and I almost thought that he couldn't hear it. "Now..(Y/N)..do you know why you're here?" Jin asked again and I just shook my head and looked at him with pleading eyes. "Why am I here?" I asked quietly.
