"Well, I'm sorry, but... I was just prying on that thing that Miss Summerhall placed on your bed." She grabbed the stapled paper out of Alex's hand and tried to analyze what's on it. "I don't understand this..."
"It's written in braille..."
"What does it say?" The Russian housekeeper gave the papers back to Alex, eager to know what the young lady wrote to her young master.
The young master rolled her eyes and started to read it with her fingers, and once again she was in awe. Her heart suddenly fluttered because it wasn't just a letter. Alex then remembered Elise telling her that she wrote a song for her and this was the lyrics written in the way that she would see it. "How could she know how to write in braille?"
"I saw her studying it whenever she gets a chance."
"Sweet sun... Send me the moon. Empty the skies out, bringing me one step closer to you. Send it soon and I will breathe in, breathe out 'till you come in and out of view." she roamed her hand on the pages to know more about Elise's message for her.
"Why don't you go to her? Maybe she wants you to hear the whole composition of the song... It is very romantic for a girl to do that. Pay her a visit, young master. Her eyes must me searching for you in a sea of faces."
"No... It's too late... It's already past seven-thirty. The festival have already started."
"Nonsense! Get up and change into something more decent for the young lady. Let me prepare it for you."
The Russian housekeeper got the young master her best clothes. She made her wore a light blue buttoned down polo, with a black pair of jeans, a pair sneakers that she never wore and a black suit she wore at an art show once. The young master's messy hair was tied back into a bun, revealing her masculine face with a strong jaw line.
"All tidy... Look at you, Alex. You're so beautifully-handsome." The Russian housekeeper suddenly snickered when she remembered something, "This scene looked like Cinderella going to the ball."
"Ugh... I'm not sure I want to go..." whimpered the young master as she slumped herself back in her bed.
The Russian housekeeper pulled the young master up, "Oh come on! I want to see the lanterns fly up close. I want to be able to fly one, actually." However, the young master was being stubborn and kept grunting like a child. The old lady sighed and placed her hands on her waist, "Alex, a young lady is waiting for you. She wrote you a goddamn song... she must be so lonely right now. Don't mind what your father said about staying away from her, keep her safe beside you. This is your chance to know what you really feel for her. It's already time for you find someone new... Someone in heaven would want that for you. Don't disappoint her."
At the festival, Elise was happy that people are enjoying her compositions. Almost every student of Mr. Mathews sang her songs. Of course, most of the songs were sang and played by Mr. Mathews' top student, Moira Westley. They even presented a lights show with an enchanting musical score played by the orchestra.
"Congrats, Ely..." said Cindy to her beloved friend as she hugs her warmly. "You did a great job. I just wish I could stay longer but I'm an old lady, I need me some shut eye."
"You're not staying for the lanterns?" asked Elise to her tired old friend
Cindy shook her head and caressed Elise's face, "I already got my wish, dear..." she smiled at her and added, "Now it's your time to make your own wish."
"I'll take you home, grandma." Volunteered the young man, he turned to Elise and smiled, "I'll be back."
Mr. Mathews took a break from conducting and went to the young lady who was standing beside the stage with a clipboard and a headset on. "Elise, you should take a break. I'll let the others take over. Come."
