I just shook my head, blushing as I continued examining his ribs, "What even happened?: I heard you're the 'best alpha in the world' but you got fucked up."

"You should've seen the other guy." August chuckled before continuing, " Well I am the 3rd ranked alpha in the world thank you very much--We were having a meeting with the neighboring alphas,then a jackass named Dylan, decided to talk shit about how I shouldn't be Alpha because I don't have a Luna, especially since I'm 27--"

"Your 27! I'm only 21: your a grandpa." I laughed pulling his shirt down after
changing his bandages.

He just ignored my comment, "Then I got mad and threw my chair at him and we started to fight then I ended up coming here, but all of that
was worth it because
I got to meet you."

I smiled at him comment then someone knocked on the door making me turn .
Standing there was one of
the nurses, Danielle.
"Shiloh why are you still here: your shift was over 30 minutes ago?"

"Sorry, I was just checking up on Mr. West" I smiled making her nod before
speaking again

"Your phone was ringing a lot and I brought your stuff as well." She raised her arm to reveal my bag in her tan hand gently
handing it to me.

Oh yeah, we share a locker.

"Thanks Danielle: see you tomorrow." I thanked her quietly watching her disappear in the hallway . I took out my phone to see Leah
had texted me several times,

I let out a frustrated sigh leaning my head against the cold wall, beginning to think of possible ways I could get home.

"Are you okay?" August asked worried tone inlaced in his voice

"No--"

"Who do I have to kill?"

"No one: I just don't have a ride home and my friend took my car." I groaned flopping on the bed next to him making him wrap his arms around me pulling
me closer to him, "I'll just ask Chris or someone."

His eyes slowly grew onyx black,
"How do you know Chris?!"

"He's in my class, we just met today and he was the one who drove me here"

He nodded and his eyes returned to their regular color"Just stay with me."

"Remember you said 'fuck them' to me, so i'll just go--"I began and stood up from the hospital bed but he quickly pulled me down and into his chest where he wrapped his arms around me.

He began to ramble"I'm so sorry Shiloh, I didn't know it was you in the car--"

"I was joking, but I really cant stay, I'd love to but I have to go home and study plus I don't want to make your healing process even slower."

"Please stay with me: mates can't live without each other for the first 24 hours of meeting--literally. Do you want me to die?" He snapped angrily at me
making me roll my eyes
and let out a  sigh

He's right. I don't want him and
especially me to die.

"Fine, but I'm leaving right in the morning; you'll probably discharged and be able to go home by tomorrow too."

He smile triumphantly seeing I got to stay, I kicked off my shoes and cuddled closer to my mate. I laid my head on his chest, wrapping my arms around his waist feeling the sparks. His pushed the curls out of my face: kissing my forehead lightly and rubbing my back soothingly making me smile.
I can get use to this.
