Nightmare

Chapter 9

"Iche liebe diche, Aki." Takumi said softly.

What? What does that mean?

Takumi saw that I was uncontrollably confused and leaned towards my ear. "It means 'I love you' in German."

I sat there baffled while he rested his head on my shoulder, hugging me. Takumi really does love me? So, so I can love him back? I-I love him, even though I just met you I notice all of the things that make you like the little boy I cherish. Your hair has gotten lighter and I can see hairs of white poking through. Your same icy blue eyes gazing at me full of passion and love. I can't not resist you Takumi, I love you too much, And I have for a very long time. But I can't just tell you this out of the blue so I'll just say these few words...

"I-I love you t-too, Takumi..."

He hugged me tighter and sighed in relief. I hugged him back best I could.

"I'm so glad..." he breathed. He kissed me again and then opened his door. The cool crisp air hit me like a wall and I shivered.

"Too cold?" he asked worried.

"No I'm ok." I answered stepping out to meet him.

He grabbed my hand and we walked to Takumi's secret destination. We walked to an... Aquarium! Takumi smiled when he saw the joy on my face. I practically pulled him inside the building.

"We got to pay first silly." Takumi said releasing my hand.

"Oh yea, umm I forgot sorry." I said clapping my hands together.

Wow this is the first time I have ever been to an aquarium! It's so big and beautiful... I can already see the fish!

Takumi pulled his wallet out and paid for us to go in. He hung up my coat and followed me to where I wanted to go. I went to the fish I was viewing when we first got into the place. There were some Amazonian fish but very colorful. we went over to see the sting rays and we even got to feed them! I thought they would sting me but Takumi explained on how they cut of their stingers. I pulled up my sleeves and tried to touch one of them. Takumi put his hands in the water as well and one came over to him, since he has food and I don't. He pulled my hand over and we both touched the soft spongey animal. I giggled when our hands would graze each other and it would swim away.

We went over to see the sea lions next. They did fancy tricks and Takumi even got called down to help with them. He gave me his phone and keys so he wouldn't drop them and headed down to the trainer. I turned the camera on and took a picture of Takumi waving at me. I waited to snap a really good picture of him. The trainer had him sit and the seal came up and kissed him. I took a photo of it and giggled putting the phone away. Takumi looked shocked but laughed when the seal clapped with everyone else. He gave the seal a fish and was told to do some hand motions for the seals tricks. After he was done he came back up and the grand finale came. The seal jumped really high to touch a ball in the air. I clapped and so did Takumi.

"Hey the trainer told me that we could come down and see the seal if you wanted too." Takumi stated after the show was done.

"Can we?! Please Takumi?" I begged and he laughed taking my hand and leading us down.

We were told that the seals name was Victoria and that she liked to give kisses. Just then she came up and kissed me on the cheek and hid behind the trainer. I laughed and was taught how to give her a fish. I saw Takumi take a few pictures and smile. After we were done we went to see the fresh water fish.

I walked over and watched the alligators and turtles swim around in the tank. Takumi sat down on a bench, I glanced at him and he looked like he was extremely tired.

"Takumi," I called and he looked over. "You ok?"

He nodded yes and held his stomach. I remembered that he hasn't taken his medication today or yesterday. I stood up abruptly and startled the near by people. I apologized and stood right in front of Takumi and he looked at me.

"What?" he asked.

"Come on let's go back to the hotel." I said.

"Don't wanna," he answered.

I held out my hand and he took it, then dragged me to the dolphin tanks where nobody was. He pressed me against the wall and pined me there with no way of escape.

"Takumi! What are you doing!" I shouted.

"Aki, I-I don't want to go back. W-We have to finish here first." He heaved out of breath.

"Takumi you bought two day passes, we can come again tomorrow." I stated hoping that be would agree to go back and rest.

"So that's why they were so expensive?" he asked himself.

I took a better look at his face and he was a light pink from his ears to his nose. I tried to place my hand on his forehead but he pulled away and smiled.

"Takumi, are you sure you are ok?" I asked.

He nodded yes and navigated us out of the aquarium and back to his car. He opened our doors and hopped in, then he started to drive back to the hotel. He put his right hand on my leg motioning that he wanted to hold my hand and I let him. His skin felt warm and I looked back over to him. In the dark, street lights revealed that his slight blush got darker and has hand was started to get clammy. When we got to the hotel he opened the door and took off his shirt quickly. He was sweaty and he ran to the bathroom. I heard the door slam and I knelt down next to Synder.

"You want some food buddy?" I asked and he meowed in response. I got some tuna and opened it for him. Then I picked Takumi's shirt up and put it in the hamper. Hearing violent coughing in the bathroom I became worried.

"I wonder if he really is ok." I said and went to my bag. I pulled out some Advil and Tylenol. Then I got some glasses of water and set them all on the counter.

I went over to the kitchen and used the hotel phone to order some pizza. I waited and Takumi was still in the bathroom coughing. I wondered if I should go check on him but decided not to. But if he wasn't out when the pizza came I will definitely check on him. So I flipped on the tv and watched whatever was on until the pizza came.
