The next day, things were getting a bit better for Joe and I. But mainly for Joe. Things have cleared out and he is now determined to forget the Caspar dude that he has been crushing on. And I was willing to help out in the process.

And as we made our way to his locker, I couldn't help but notice all the looks people were giving us. It had amused me how Caspar glared my way.

And I couldn't help but glare back. He was the one with issues. He looked away and I rolled my eyes. I waited for Joe gather his things before I walked over to his first period and then took my sweet time to go back to mine.

I was in no hurry. And just as I was getting close to the door, the bell rang. I sighed and stopped right before the door. I debated on whether I should go in or not. I didn't want to sit next to Harry.

I eventually gave up and took a deep breath. I opened the door and walked in. All eyes were on me, but I simply made my way over to my seat. "Mr Horan, you're late." The teacher said and I sighed.

"I'm sorry. I got distracted, but it won't happen again." I said and she gave a certain look before shrugging it off and continuing with whatever she was teaching. I got my notebook from my backpack and pretended like Harry wasn't sitting next to me.

And just like I was pretending that he wasn't there, he was doing the same. But unfortunately it didn't last. I had let out a small groan and a string of curse words as I heard what the teacher was assigning. "Do always do this? Moan about everything that happens to you?" He said and I rolled my eyes. Not today, I wasn't going to let him take over my feelings.

"I have an idea, how about you stop bitching about my life and start worrying about yours." I sassed back and I packed my things and got ready to leave. I saw him clench his fists in anger. I suppressed the smirk that was threatening to make its way to my lips.

I saw him opening his mouth to say something, but the bell beat him to it. I rolled my eyes and walked out of the room without looking back at him or anyone. And upon reaching my locker, I released a breath that I didn't know that I was holding.

I tried to calm down and after taking a few breaths, I opened my locker and took out the necessary things for my next class. And just as I was going to close it, a hand beat me to it. I flinched and turned to face the person.

I felt myself flinch once more and I took a deep breath before trying to go past him. "You're not going anywhere. Not with that little attitude you pulled not so long ago." Harry said and gripped my arm to prevent me from walking away.

A soft whimper made its way past my lips as his grip tightened around my arm. "You're still so weak." He whispered in my ear. Tears were forming in my eyes. Both because of his words and his grip that seems to get tighter each time.

"O-Ow, H-Harry, you're hurting me!" I cried and tried to get his grip off of me. I looked up to him and once my blue teary eyes met his fierce green ones, something seemed to snap and he quickly let go of my arm. He took a few steps back and with his eyebrows furrowed, he walked away.

I let out a breath and tried to soothe out the pain in my arm. I ignored the way that people were whispering about what had happened and I simply walked to my next class. I was already over today.

And it wasn't until lunchtime that both Liam and Joe came rushing towards me. "Niall!" I heard both of them yell. I stopped walking and waited for them.

And upon reaching me, they both engulfed me in a hug. "Are you okay, Niall? We heard about what happened with Harry." Joe said and pulled away from the embrace. I nodded.
