Till my Last Breath

I
Butterflies in my stomach I felt,
Broken promises, tangled with kelp.
Sound of majestic voice asking for help,
Frozen black hearts with no chance to melt.

II
Smokey words came out with no reason,
Their love fades between the horizon.
Chained hearts split without hesitation,
Memories, left with a scar of thorns.

III
O' darling! Can't you see that my heart?
My heart is starting to fall apart!
Your eyes glimmered only from the start,
Those daydreams have been hallowed with dark.

IV
I've loved you so much, so much it hurts,
Pureness of gold, now covered with dirt.
Holding on, how much more will I exert?
Trying to keep you, even though it hurts.

V
Four black eyes, staring at each other,
Sweet conversations, shared together.
As the flowers started to wither,
Love story turned into a disaster.

VI
Plans for the future, it has been said,
I'll chase after you, stairway to death.
Puzzled feelings, being webbed like thread,
I'll always love you, till my last breath.

A/N: This poem was also put in the book of xenthelight (my friend, crazy friend if you may ask), 'Poems from the Heart'. (Hope you have time to read her book! READ IT! READ IT! READ IT! ^O^)
