Elliot's pov

I walk to the park. I look around me. I'm nervous. There's only few people in here.

Oh, there he is.

I walk towards the bench Tyrell is sitting on. He stands up when he sees me. He flashes his flawless smile. I try to smile too but I'm so nervous. I look away as I sit down.

This is awkward. He's just Tyrell Wellick, so man up. Yeah. "Just".

"Bonsoir, Elliot," he says as usual.

I just nod without saying anything.

Why does it hurt to be so awkward?

Tyrell sits back down, right next to me.

I think he tried to come closer to me before I sat down. Shit. I messed up.

"So..." he starts after few minutes and laughs nervously. "How have you been?"

Why is he so nervous? Wasn't I supposed to do that part?

"Why did you want to talk?" I ask him.

Tyrell looks at me kind of confused at first but that changes to concern.

"Elliot you have been..." he starts as he looks right in to my eyes. "... different lately. I'm worried about you."

"What do you mean by that?" I say and look right back at him.

"Seems like you don't remember certain things," he continues. "Let's take a walk."

I nod and we stand up. We start walking.

Silence.

"Elliot. Before you ended up in the hospital we were something," Tyrell says after a while as he keeps looking ahead of us. "Partners actually."

"Partners?" I ask and look at him. "We were working together?"

He smiles slightly. It's kind of a sad looking smile. He looks down.

"That too," he says.

What is this? I don't remember any of it.

"Too?" I ask and look away. "What else then?"

He sighs and then stops. I do too.

This can't be good.

Tyrell looks deep in my eyes. My heart is beating extremely fast. He comes closer. I can hear his steady breathing. I can feel the warmth of his body.

"You know," Tyrell says and leans closer to me. "Partners."
