Everything was covered in a blanket from twilight and he sat on the bench with his head turned up. The stars weren't fully alive yet but the few that shined amongst the light he couldn't look away from. There was something about them that reached into his soul.

His arms were shadowed with goosebumps as the weather began to cool. The leaves were changing and the darkness came sooner. He only wished his attention to the girl who seemingly never existed would become that to him too.

A familiar feeling spread across the right side of his body. He knew without looking it was her. But he didn't move; he didn't speak. He frighteningly enjoyed the feeling of her next to him. He could smell the purple radiating off of her. Her mouth stayed still, void of words that wouldn't be able to escape her in the first place.
