"Bela, how was your first day?" Gerard asked 'I had not even got a foot in the doorway, how did my grandfather know that I was home already?' "It was fine, Grandpa Gerard. Just your average everyday first day in a new school." I said "Meet any potential boyfriends?" Gerard asked "Grandpa Gerard, why are you so interested if I have a boyfriend or not?" I asked "You are at that age where you'll want to make dates, some nights, and leave your old grandpa by himself." Gerard said "I know but I won't be going on dates for a long time, Grandpa." I said "I know, I just don't want you to be alone, like I am." Gerard said "We have each other, so we aren't exactly alone." I said "You're right. It just hasn't felt the same since I lost Valerie, and now Rose and Kyle." Gerard said "I know how you feel. I miss them, too." I said placing my hand on his shoulder 'I heard a crash coming from a distant room in the house, Grandpa Gerard and I had gone into the library he had built for my mom and grandmother. We had then seen broken glass and books all over the floor...' "Who would do this?" I asked "Bela, is everything okay? I saw someone breaking in." Dorian said "Did you see who did this?" I asked "Bela... ..look." Dorian said "Dorian, what is that?" I asked "You gonna introduce me to your friend, Bela?" Gerard asked "It's an engraved sports band.. wait, there's some initials etched on the back. S.M... Steve Maxwell. He's blind. How could he have gotten in here?" I asked "We have answers to collect." Dorian said "Dorian, how are we going to question a blind guy?" I asked "Get on, Bela." Dorian said "You have a motorcycle?" I asked "This is no ordinary motorcycle, Bela. Hold on." Dorian said "You keep a close eye on her!" Gerard called to Dorian 'As soon as Dorian had revved the bike, we had begun to float in the air, I had clutched onto him as tightly as I could...' "Dorian, what kind of motorcycle is this?" I asked "I charmed it to avoid traffic." Dorian said "A flying motorcycle, I created an energy ball that blinded Steve when I shot it from my hands. What have I become?" I asked "It's not what you've become, Bela. It's what you were born into. You're a witch." Dorian said "Okay, so maybe I am a witch, and you said you were a sorcerer, right?" I asked "Yes, I am a sorcerer, Bela. My father's a sorcerer, my grandfather was a sorcerer, my mother and grandmother are witches. Your grandfather is a sorcerer, your mother and grandmother were witches and your father was a sorcerer." Dorian said "How is any of this even possible?" I asked "No one really knows. It's something most people are born into. There's Steve's place. Hang on tight, it's gonna be a bumpy landing." Dorian said, diving down from the sky "A few years ago, I was a normal teenage girl, now I'm a witch who just rode on the back of a flying motorcycle. This has got to be a bad dream or something." I said "It was very much real, Bela." Dorian said "Why was I not told about this, Dorian? I could have done worse than just blinding Steve, if I hadn't found myself then I could have killed him." I said, walking up to the door "He has to believe that you're alone so I won't make a sound, I'll be right here waiting for you." Dorian said 'I had taken hold of Dorian's wrist as we approached the front door. Fear hid behind my eyes, I didn't know if I could lie to Steve about being alone, he might have been blinded, but he could still sense Dorian's movements. Dorian had then rubbed his hand against my back, looking at me with sincerity his eyes. I smile at him, forgetting that I was even nervous...' "Steve, it's Lillith." I called "Lillith?" Dorian asked "I'll explain later." I said "Lillith Richards, come in." Steve said "I just wanted to apologize for what happened. But I didn't appreciate what you were doing to my friend this morning." I said "You're friends with Darrien Ravencroft?" Steve asked "His name is Dorian, not Darrien." I said "I'm sorry about that, it's just that I really like you and I couldn't stand that Ravencroft was talking to you." Steve said "I'm sorry, but I can't stand bullies, Steve. Something was taken from a friend I'm living with and Dorian said he saw you breaking in." I said "I didn't take anything from Old Man Harrison's house." Steve said "How could you have known that unless-- you faked being blind the whole time!" I said "Okay, so I faked being blind. I don't even know why I wanted to steal from Old Man Harrison anyway. Just take it and get the hell out of my house!" Steve said angrily as I picked up the book and bolted out "Did you get what you needed to?" Dorian asked "He was pissed, Dorian. And, he was pretending to be blind this whole time." I said "Let's just get back to Gerard's." Dorian said "Ravencroft, you were with her?" Steve yelled as we had taken off, and Steve had grabbed the back of the bike "Steve?" Dorian asked "Hand over the book, sweetheart." Steve said "I don't think so." I said kicking at his fingers "Steve, why do you even want Lillith's book?" Dorian asked "If you must know, I was going to sell it on the Black Market. Stuff like Old Man Harrison's is worth a lot." Steve said "Dorian, head towards the lake." I said "Why are we going there?" Steve asked "You'll see." I said "You may want to hold on, Lillith." Dorian said 'We had arrived at the lake, I had stomped on his fingers as he fell into the water...' "Let's get back to Gerard's." I said "Gerard? We got your book back." Dorian called "Dorian..." I called a worried tone in my voice "Bela, what is it?" Dorian asked "I just had a vision, someone took my grandfather. We have to get him back." I said "Bela, calm down. We'll find him." Dorian said, placing his hand on my shoulder "Bela, what's wrong?" Tara asked "Gerard's missing. We just got back and Bela's devastated. She found the house empty and completely trashed..." Dorian said "Bela, I'm sorry. I'll help you and Dorian look." Tara said "Thank you so much, Tara." I said "Anything for my friends." Tara said "So, you're not Lillith Richards, but Bela Harrison... The granddaughter of the town nut job." Steve said "It's not Bela Harrison, it's Bela Grayson." I said "Bela, stay back." Dorian said, placing his arm in front of me "Harrison or not, you're still a freak." Steve said "Don't you talk to her like that." Tara said "She's as nutty as her crackpot grandfather." Steve said, sending Dorian and Tara flying backwards "Bela... Run." Dorian said "I won't leave you." I said "How sweet. Freak love." Steve said, kicking Dorian in the side "Leave him alone!" I said "What are you going to do about it, Bela? I'll make you a deal, come with me to the homecoming dance..." Steve said "And why would I ever agree to go on a date with a guy I can't stand?" I said "You do as I say, and they won't be hurt." Steve said "If you hurt them I'll make you sorry you ever crossed me." I said "Why would I do that?" Steve said 'I had closed my eyes, taken a deep breath, my eyes a pale white, I float into the air, focusing my energies on Steve, looking turning toward Tara and Dorian...'  "Dorian, get Tara out of here." I said blasting a ball of energy at Steve as Dorian lead Tara to safety "What the hell are you?" Steve asked "What did you do with my grandfather?" I asked "I never did anything with Old Man Harrison. I promise you, Bela." Steve said "Do you want to try that again?" I asked, shooting balls of lightning at Steve's feet "Okay, he's in the cabin at the top of the hill by the clearing." Steve said "Grandpa Gerard?" I called "Bela?" Gerard asked "Steve Maxwell told me where to find you." I said untying the ropes "Steve Maxwell, you need to stay away from him. He's bad news. That Steve is nothing but trouble." Gerard said "Easier said than done, Grandpa Gerard. He is stalking me to no end." I said "Dorian's been keeping a close eye on you. He's who you should be with. I trust him." Gerard said "Dorian's the sweetest guy I've ever met. I actually think I might have..." I said "You're in love with him.." Gerard said "Well, I might feel that way about Dorian, he makes me feel warm and I feel he's truly the one for.. Oh, God. I'm in love with Dorian..." I said in shock "Dorian, I can walk myself home, shouldn't you see if Bela's okay?" Tara asked "She probably fried Steve's ass. Not that he doesn't deserve it." Dorian said "I agree, Steve can be a bit of a-- Well, what I think about him isn't important. So, what is going on between you and Bela?" Tara said "What are you talking about, Tara? Bela and I are friends, nothing more. Even though I wish we could be more than friends..." Dorian said "You're in love with her. That's amazing. You have to tell Bela how you feel." Tara said "No, she can't know yet. It's not the time yet. Please, Tara. I beg of you not to tell Bela." Dorian said "You can trust me, Dorian." Tara said 'I had just transported with Grandpa Gerard to meet up with Tara and Dorian... I had hugged both of them tightly, Dorian longer than Tara.. His shoulder length brown hair whipped around my face, I deeply inhaled the scent of his hair as he held me closer, Tara and Gerard looking at us.. I had a feeling something bad was about to happen...'
