Oliver's POV
                       One year later
I was in the kitchen cooking breakfast when the doorbell rang. My almost five-year-old, Houston came running through the kitchen followed by his twin brother, Nevada. "I can get it mama." Before I could answer him, he had disappeared into the next room. I heard the door open and someone speaking. "Mama! There's a guy with really red hair here to see you!" I heard Houston yell and I sighed. Dusting off my hands and taking off my apron I hurried into the front entrance. My mouth dropped open at the person standing on my front porch. "Denver!" I shouted then ran to hug him. He laughed and hugged me back. "Ollie! It's good to see ya." Suddenly I felt a tug on my shirt. "Mama, who's he?" It was Houston and he was frowning over at Denver. Denver hiked a brow at Houston's question. "Denver these are my sons, Houston and Nevada. Boys this is mama's friend. Houston can you get daddy?" I asked him and he happily scampered off excited to see his dad. "Okay Ollie I think you have some explaining to do." Denver said as he glanced down at Nevada who was hiding behind me clutching my leg. "Come on in then and I'll explain everything." I said sighing. We sat down in the living room with Nevada and I on the couch and Denver on a love seat. I had just finished explaining everything to Denver, when Luke walked in holding Houston. Frowning he took a seat beside me. "Ollie, who's this?" He whispered and I laughed. "Luke, this is Denver Kelly, my best friend and Beta. Denver, this is my husband, Luke Watson." I said. Denver smiled at Luke. "Don't worry, I'm not here to steal your precious Ollie. I'm straighter then a ruler, not that I have anything against gays." I laughed at Denver's speech as Luke blushed. Houston had left the room sometime during the introduction but now came bounding back into the room. "Mama! Aiden waked up!" I sighed. Aiden was our six-month-old son. "Woke up honey. But thank you, I'll go get him." When I returned cradling the baby, I was amused to see Luke and Denver laughing and talking like old friends. As soon as I walked back into the room all eyes focused on me. "He's not hungry, only bored." I said and Luke smiled. "Hey Ollie, we haven't gone for a run for a while so do you wanna go. That's the other reason I came over here." Denver said and I looked over at Luke who nodded. "Sure lets go." I said handing Aiden over to Luke. "Be careful there's been some rogue spotting but that was a few weeks back so you should be fine." Luke said and I nodded. "Alright we'll  be careful. I'll be back soon babe." I said kissing him lightly on the lips then turned to Denver and ushered him out the door. Once we reached the edge of the forest, Denver and I shifted into our wolves. We had been running for a half hour or so when I smelled a unfamiliar scent. Alerting Denver, I was about to turn back when a huge black male wolf who I assumed to be a rogue jumped out of the bushes. Denver shifted back to his human form and was reaching for a rock. The wolf however leapt over me and shifted in mid air landing next to Denver. Then he sunk his teeth into Denver's shoulder. Denver let out a loud moan surprising me. I watched in fascination as the boy pulled back after licking the wound clean and grinned at Denver. Then he uttered the one word I was not expecting. "Mate."
