Oliver's POV
Both my parents started freaking out after Luke's explanation and I was terrified out what the outcome would be. Suddenly my dad stood up and walked over to Luke and I. I could feel Luke's nervousness through our bond and I was getting ready to defend my mate if need be when my dad stuck out his hand. "Welcome to the family son." He said and Luke blinked in surprise, then grinned, stood up and shook my father's hand. My mom and I just stared in shock as the two shook hands grinning at each other. "Thanks sir, I appreciate it." Luke said releasing my father's hand. "Call me Tom." As they went on to talk about leading packs and such, I stared shell shocked. No one and I mean no one except my grandparents and mother call my dad Tom. In fact he hates it if others call him that. Yet here he was telling my mate to call him that as if it were the most natural thing in the world. Looking over at my mom from the corner of my eye, I could tell she felt the same I did. I watched as Luke handed Houston over to my dad so that he could cuddle his grandson and I felt a smile creep it's way onto my face. My mom, recovered from her initial shock, came over and sat next to me before kissing my forehead. "Baby, I want you to know that although I am a bit shocked and it will take some getting used to seeing my son with another man, I will accept this. I love you always." Her eyes were filled with tears and I had to choke down the lump in my throat. "I love you too mom. Thank you." I smiled and hugged her as best I could as Nevada was still eating. Suddenly he let out a soft sound to alert me of the fact that he was full. Removing the blanket from over him and my shoulder and fixing my shirt I lifted him up to burp him. "Hey baby boy, you all finished?" I crooned softly and he burped then shifted slightly letting out a soft gurgle and grasped the front of my shirt. My mom looked down at him with a smile. "I forgot about you." She laughed and Nevada buried his face into my neck and let out a small whimper. "Sorry he's a bit shy." I explained and my mom smiled, not at all surprised. "That's exactly how you were. It took you until you turned two to go to your grandparents." I laughed feeling as if a burden was lifted off my shoulders. My mom and I talk for a while longer about Nevada and Houston's birth and my pregnancy. "So when is that hunk of a man of yours going to propose?" My mom asked innocently and I nearly choked on air. Thankfully I was saved by Houston, who deciding he was hungry let out a loud wail. I snickered as my dad started panicking and I could here my mom laughing as well. Luke gently took him from my dad and brought him over to me. While we switched babies I took the opportunity to tell Luke what my mom had said through our link. After being absolutely certain that Houston was eating I looked up at Luke and nodded. He nodded back with a serious expression and turned to face my parents. "Tom, Heidi I would like you to know that I asked your son, Oliver to marry me. I love him am our sons dearly an I would never allow anyone to hurt them. Even though he said yes I would like for you to give us your blessing. Also the wedding will be held on Ollie's twenty-first birthday as is customary." Luke said with all seriousness. My parents looked at each other then back at us with smiles. "Luke, Oliver, we are happy to give you our full blessings. Luke you have shown just how much you love our son and we are happy to call you out son." My mom said before moving over to hug Luke. I could see that he was fighting back tears and hugged my mom back tightly. "He's a keeper." She whispered to me as she stood up and walked over to my dad then turned back to us. "Don't think that this is the end of you seeing us. In fact I heard that there was land up here for sale but for now we had better get home as we do have a pack to run." She said. We laughed and gave them one last hug, then Luke saw them to the door as I was still busy feeding Houston. I smiled; it felt good to have your parents supporting you.
