Mania POV
I carefully watched everyone.
All there movements.
I then didn't feel Emmett and Jasper's hands on me.
I then jumped back fifteen feet away from them.
I still had my dagger out.
I won't break the code again.
But I must know.
"Are you the ones harming my people?" I called out
Carlisle looked confused.
"Harming your people?" Carlisle asked
"My people relied on the deer, the bears, and the mountain lions. But they couldn't because they kept dissapearing.Are you the cause of that" I said
Carlisle then seemed to understand what I'm talking about.
"Our hunting activities you mean.Yes we have been hunting those animals.We had no idea other people were living here as well." Carlisle explained
I then seen Rox and Shimoa.
I did the Jaguar call of help again.
Rox seen me and they went in my direction.
Rox landed on my shoulder and Shimoa ran up and armed her bow.
I then rested my hand on her shoulder.
"Mania are you ok?" Shimoa asked
"Yes I'm fine.I found out about the cause of our problem.But how did you get here so quickly?" I asked
"I was delivering a message to the water province and Rox came and got me." Shimoa explained
I then nodded in understanding.
"Let us flee.We already broke the code" Shimoa said and we all left.
I then heard running footsteps.
I turned and seen Emmett and Jasper along with a couple girls running after us.
I then did hand signs to Shimoa.
2-3-5-4-5
Shimoa nodded and did the same code to Rox.
We all went in different directions.
I then jumped on the tree trunk and quickly climbed and jumped from tree to tree.
The creek was up ahead and Shimoa and Rox just juloed it.
Now it's my turn.
But again I was thrown to the ground.
"Mania!" Shimoa shouted
"Carlisle she must be a vampire." Emmett said
"She must be." Carlisle said
"Are you from the Vultori!" Jasper growled
I then struggled against Emmett.
"Answer!" a girl shouted at me.
I just kept struggling.
I then heard a different growl.
I looked up to see a sandy brown wolf growling looking in my direction.
Shimoa had her bow armed and shot at the people around me.
Emmett lost his grip and I ran straight to Shimoa.
I jumped and landed on the very edge of the creek cliff and began to fall backwards.
Shimoa grabbed my arm and pulled me to her.
