(Assignment)
Kumiko‘s POV
"Mommy, Daddy. I have something to say." I said while slicing my beef steak.
"Yes honey what is it?" Nakangiting tanong ni Mommy sakin. I first chewed and gulped before I spoke.
"Me and my friends are planning to live together." Bigla silang natahimik. Sabi ko na nga ba. Makikipag-argue pa ako bago sila pumayag.
"You mean like live in an apartment together?" Gulat na tanong ni mommy.
"Yes mommy." I said having another slice of the beef.
"But isn‘t that dangerous? Wala kami dun para bantayan kayo!" Daddy said na binitawan pa ang hawak niyang kubyertos.
"Daddy. Wala naman po talaga kayo palagi para bantayan ako. Kahit na nandito lang ako sa bahay." Truth hurts. Lagi naman kasi sila sa work but I do understand. I‘m considered lucky kasi I get to have dinner with my parents. Unlike Eyira. Laging walang kasama kung kumain yun.
"I‘m sorry if you feel that way. But we are trying our best to keep you safe!" Mommy said teary eyed. Here we go again.
"Mommy. You don‘t have to worry about me. I‘m old and knowledgeable enough. I can take care of myself. Me and my friends will look out for each other." ngumiti ng mapait si Daddy.
"So what‘s the plan?" Napangiti ako ng malapad.
"Thank you daddy!" Lumapit pa ako at niyakap si Daddy. "You‘re the best!"
"So you plan to stay where?" Tanong ni Mommy pagkaupo ko. She‘s actually my step mom. Namatay ang totoo kong mommy when I was like 2 years old because of an incident. She‘s been a kind step mom to me so I didn‘t made a big deal when they got married.
"We‘re actually planning on staying at the house you bought last summer. It‘s five blocks away from school so it won‘t be a hassle. You could visit me there anytime." I flashed a smile.
"I guess there‘s no stopping you anymore." hinaplos ni daddy ang kamay ko. "Just please be careful. Promise me." I nodded at naramdaman ko namang hinawakan ni mommy ang balikat ko.
"I promise."

Natapos ang dinner ng maayos. Good thing pumayag si daddy kasi kung hindi mapipilitan akong tumakas. Gotta call my girlfriends.
*Calling Maidladz*
Agad naman nilang sinagot ang tawag ko.
"Yow!" kahit kelan ang ingay talaga nitong si Michiyo.
"Konbanwa Kumi-chan!" sigurado akong nakangiti na naman yang si Eyira ngayon. Di nauubsan ng ngiti to.
"Kamusta naman? Pumayag na ba Daddy mo?" ika ni Keiko na sigurado akong nakaloud speaker lang ang phone. Malamang naglalaro to ng online game ee. Rinig na rinig ko ee. Nanaman.
"Oi! Hinaan mo naman yung volume ng nilalaro mo jan! Ang ingay!" sigaw ni Yumi. Ito na naman si Gangster na to. Manigaw ba naman?
"Oo na hihinaan na. Oh Kumi, balita?"
