My alarm rung loudly, inducing the worst headache ever. It was now Monday and I'm off to do my duties. I loved my job but hated it at the same time. Being a woman in my department made it hard to gain attention or even support from my fellow workers. Even though we should care for one another. I'm not so sure if they truly care about me.

Well...expect two people, my father and brother. Both whom I work with.

Even with them, I couldn't gain any attention from anyone. My father pushes me to be the best. But he's more of a pain in the ass. He does more scolding than helping.

"Hey, snowball." My white Pomeranian rushes to me, tapping my leg. I bend down to scratch him and move my fingers through his fluffy fur.

"Alright, mommy's gotta get ready." I gently place him outside and closed the door.

After doing my daily routine, I quickly search for my black leather jacket. I trip over Snowballs toy, causing pain to travel to my knee. I curse to myself, crawling around to find that damn jacket.

I rejoice when I see it underneath my bed. I slip snowball underneath my arm and rush out the door. I knock lightly not wanting to irritate Mrs. Lennox. She opens the door, smiling with a plate. She made me blt with a coffee on the side. Just how I like it.

"Oh my. Thank you so much." She nods and hands me the coffee. I place Snowball down and he rushes into her home. "You're welcome dear. I'm always happy to talk Snowball."

I take the plate and kiss her cheek. Ever since I've lost my mom and moved here. She's been like a mother to me. "I'll be back for him and if I have time — I'll come back to watch movies." She nods and slightly cracks the door. She stays as a barrier between the opening.

"Thank you again."

"No problem, dear. Have fun at your job."

I hope so.

I hopped off my motorcycle, almost falling in the process. I rushed inside, placing my coffee down at my station. Just when I thought I could sit and enjoy my coffee, my boss calls for me.

I sigh, walking passed a group of men.

I walked into his office, avoiding his stare. I hear him deeply breath whilst scratching his regrown bread. It was awkward before he spoke.

"Dad, what do you need?" I asked, finally sitting in front of him.

"First, this is our job. Call me boss."

"I have an assignment for you." It's been months since I've had an assignment. So mentally I was having a celebration. "Ok."

"Lately, a client has been through strange activities. Everywhere he goes something seems to happen. His team believes someone's following him. So, you will be assigned for the meantime as his undercover bodyguard. Basically a detective for a actor." He smirks slightly, still keeping that serious face.

"Who is it?!" I exclaimed. I couldn't help it. My emotions got the best of me. I mean me helping an actor. It could be anyone.

"Calm down," he demanded. I pull back my emotions, containing them.

"Sorry."

"You will be an bodyguard/detective for Aiden Wyatt." Oh no. I've heard of this name before. Aiden loves media and the media loves him. He's an actually tool. All he does is sleep around and act in bad cliche movies.

"Oh no." I shake my head in disapproval. My father nods his head, crossing his arms.

"Oh yes."

Aiden Wyatt is married to Victoria Williams. But there was a lot of rumors of Aiden cheating. I mean it was everywhere. From photos to videos of him slobbering over a random woman.

He's a brat but his fiancée is conceded as well.

"Why?!"

I didn't even wanna be caught in his drama. He would make my job even harder. "Aiden has been given envelopes that contain inappropriate photos." I bet they were sexual photos from fans. What's new?

Ladies always throw themselves on him. He's not even cute. Ok, that last part was a lie but I'm not giving him the benefit of the doubt.

"What type?"

"Filled with pictures of his house and him sleeping." Never mind then. I guess he does have someone creepy ass fans strolling around. I mean I don't get it why evolve around this one man.

"Alright, that's it for now. Andre will come back with more material and supplies for your new assignment." I smile slightly, walking out of the door.

"Thanks," I mumbled. Even though I'm suppose to feel confident, a small part of me felt unprepared. Anything could happen with this man. I guess it's a matter of putting my job first. I'll deal with him and keep him in check.

What's the worst that could happen?
