Elliot's pov

My head aches. I try to open my eyes but whatever this place is, it's too bright. I feel a tight grip on my hand.

I hear some distant noise. People talking. Machines beeping. Someone is crying.

Where am I? Do you know what this place is? Oh, I forgot. You never talk.

I open my eyes slowly and let them adjust to the light. I see the ceiling. It's white. I look around me. White. Everything is white. I think this is a hospital.

I notice someone sitting on the chair next to me, leaning to my bed.

"Tyrell...?" I whisper. My voice is weak. My mouth is dry.

Tyrell lifts his head. He looks confused at first, but after a while he slowly starts smiling. His eyes light up. A single tear rolls down his cheek. His grip on my hand is even tighter now.

"Bonsoir, Elliot," he says. "Welcome back."

"What... what happened?" I ask. I have no idea what is going on.

"I... I will tell you later," Tyrell says with a weak smile that fades away quickly.

I nod. I am too tired to speak. My whole body hurts.

What happened? Is he actually real? Why is he here?

A nurse walks in. She looks at me.

"Oh we are awake today! This is amazing," she says. "Mr. Wellick, I need to ask you to leave now."

They are talking. So much talking. I can't focus. My head hurts too much. Tyrell looks kind of sad. Maybe disappointed. But why?

"Alright then..." Tyrell says quietly.

He stands up and sighs. He is about to leave but stops and looks at me. He kisses my forehead and walks towards the door.

"See you tomorrow, Elliot," he says before he disappears outside.
