Chaka's Curse

Chapter 3.

"You guys ready to rock!" Kiara yelled, leaping up onto the stage. The cubs had made it to the party and were having a blast!

"We're gonna rock the roof--Sky, off this place!" Kila shouted, leaping up beside her as the crowd roared.

Kion smirked, looking up at his sisters, who were, unknown to him, both younger then him.

"When?" Bunga whined.

"Wait." Kion giggled to his best friend.

"hi there," A gray cub padded up to them, his blue eyes wide. "Are you Prince Kion?"

"Hmm?" Kion turned, eyes lighting up. "Yeah, I am! Who are you?"

"Im Chaka!" The cub gave him a friendly smile.

"Im Bunga!" Bunga piped up, smiling.

"Hi there Bunga!" Chaka greeted cheerfully.

"Pleasure to meet you Chaka!" Kion said, extending a paw.

"Pleasures all mine! Im guessing those are your sisters, right?" Chaka shook his paw, tilting his head toward the stage.

"Sure are. Im guessing they're about to sing." Kion said with a chuckle.

"Oh boy." Chaka joked, and Kion laughed.

Kiara smirked from the stage. "Yeah we are, knuckle-heads!"

Kila cuffed her over the head with a paw before laughing. "Ready to ROOOCK!" She roared as music started playing out of nowhere.

"My Momma told me,

We were all born superstars." Kiara sang.

"She rolled my hair,
And put my lipstick on,
In the glass of her boudoir." Kila sang.

"There's nothin' wrong with lovin' who you are,

Listen to me when I say." Kiara and Kila exchanged a glance, grinning.

I was born this way." Kiara sang, stomping her paws as the crowd roared.

"WAY!!!!" Kila finished, causing an uproar.

"Now?" Bunga whispered.

Chaka looked confused. "Now what?"

"Now. You'll see." Kion gave him a grin. "Lets go Bunga!"

"ALRIGHT!" Bunga yelled, darting forward.

"YEAH!" Kion shot after him.

Chaka watched, laughing.

"I say hey, I'll be gone today!" Kion sang loudly.

"But I'll be back all around the way!
It seems like everywhere I go,
The more I see, the less I know!"

"But I know one thing,
That I love you (baby girl)!
I love you, I love you, I love you!" Bunga darted over to Kila, twirling her a little.

"I've been a lot of places all around the way!
I've seen a lot of joy and I've seen a lot of pain!
But I don't want to write a love song for the world,
I just want to write a song about a boy and a girl!" Kion winked at Vexy, who gasped and squealed.

"Kids on the corner always calling my name,
And the kids on the corner playing ghetto games!
When I saw you getting down, well, I hope it was you,
And when I look into your eyes I knew it was true!" Kion and Bunga sang.

Kiara and Kila started laughing.

"Go little brother!" Kiara cheered.

Chaka blinked when he heard that, but said nothing as Vincent and Vexy exchanged a glance.

"I say hey, I'll be gone today!" Kion sang.

"But I'll be back all around the way!" Bunga sang.

"It seems like everywhere I go," Kion sang.

"The more I see, the less I know!" Bunga grinned.

"But I know one thing,

Bunga grinned at Kila, and Kion gave Vexy a charming smirk.

"Rocking in the dance hall moving with you,
Dancing in the night in the middle of June!
My momma told me don't lose you,

"I say hey, I'll be gone today!
But I'll be back all around the way!
It seems like everywhere I go,

I love you, I love you, I love you!" Kion and Bunga finished, high-fiving while the crowd burst into applause.

"That was AWESOME!" Chaka exclaimed, pushing through the crowd to get to Kion and Bunga.

"Yeah, we're pretty awesome." Kion replied, jumping down and padding over to him with a grin.

"Yup. And now," Bunga leaped down and followed. "You can be awesome with us!"

"Exactly!" Kion held up a paw to Chaka, smiling. "Friends?"

"Friends!" Chaka replied with huge smile, lifting his paw to meet Kion's.
