Welcome to this great period known as the time of the American colonies! It all began back in 1492 when Christopher Columbus discovered America. This incredible era created famous sea skimmers such as Jean Bart, Samuel Bellamy and Edward Teach. Thanks to them, piracy reached its golden age during the XVIIth century and still spreads nowadays with its myths and legends through our history and our minds.
Pirates: the Siren's Call (or Le Chant des Voiles) is a feminist initiation story with a backdrop of piracy, romance and legends which first draft was started in October 2010 and finished in May 2015. Since then, the story has known quite a few lives on different websites, went through several revision and benefited from wise advice given by amazing people. The version the author is sharing here today comes after many years of advice and love and she hopes it will take you through a journey as it did for her.

— Pirates: the Siren's Call / Le Chant des Voiles is a Young Adult novel. You will find violence, blood, flying heads and sometimes, even very sexy kisses. However, descriptions will stay appropriate. It's not Games of Thrones, right?
— As it went through a little adventure with a literary agent, volume 1 had been divided into two and only the first ten chapters were published. It is no longer the case – both volumes now makes one book in two parts. It will be fully published here on Wattpad.
— Pirates: the Siren's Call | Le Chant des Voiles is originally written in French by Tiphs. Back in 2016, she kindly accepted that I translate and publish her story in English on my Wattpad profile. Therefore, please note that I am not stealing her work and that I own nothing you will see here. All credits goes to her.
— Tiphs has no longer publishing plans for Pirates: the Siren's Call | Le Chant des Voiles. It was a beautiful journey, but she needs to move on, to leave the story in the past where it belongs, to let go in order to continue her journey with new projects. Her writing style has evolved and despite hours spent on it, the story no longer reflects her work. She doesn't see herself publishing it while her fantasy duology, Allunia, will be released by the French publishing house Plume Blanche. Therefore, Tiphs would rather share the story here for free, and with no pressure on her shoulders, for those who want to read it.
