chapter 15

"Wow. It Must've been tough."

"Hahaha. It was. I remembered the days where they would put makeup on my face and big glittery dresses on me, " junhui shudders at the thought of his childhood filled with his friends laughing at him as he walked to school with a pink ballerina skirt. "Anyways, let's get you done. Wonwoo expects me to bring you somewhere in 5 minutes time. "

"Dammit! Stupid snake! " wonwoo furiously stamps his feet and had the urge to throw the phone jihyeon gave him onto the floor. Wonwoo was playing that snake game where you had to avoid walls or bumping into your body while you moved around trying to eat food that will power the snake up.

Because he was 1 point away from his newest high score, wonwoo started screaming and yelling swear words that will probably ( or not) calm him down a bit and cool his raging self. It took about five minutes for him to finally realize the soft knocking sound outside the door.

"Sir? Please open the door. "

When wonwoo opened the doors, he saw jihyeon shaking from trying to keep in her laugh and junhui who was giving him a "what-the-hell" face.

"Thanks junhui. " wonwoo grabs jihyeon's wrist and pulled her into the room before slamming the door in junhui's face. When jihyeon was finally in the room, she removed her hand covering her mouth and burst out laughing .

Wonwoo ears started to turn red. " yah! Its not funny! "

"Yes it was! I can't believe you got angry over your high score! " jihyeon cracks up, wrapping her arms around her waist and throwing her head back. "I think I'm going to die from laughing too hard. "

"Stop laughing at me! " wonwoo grumbles. It took some time for jihyeon to finally cool down and stop laughing. Her jaw and stomach started hurting but no regrets. (am I right :)?  )

"So , is this the place you wanted to show me? " jihyeon asked .

"Not really. But , I want you to look up. " standing back, wonwoo allows jihyeon take in her surroundings which will totally surprise her.

And it did.

"Oh my gosh...." Jihyeon jaw dropped open .

In the room was filled with something the both of them loved.

Books.

Books were everywhere. When jihyeon turned to the left, books. The right, books. Everywhere around her were filled with books and more and more books.  It was as if the scene from beauty and the beast came to life where the beast brought belle into the room filled with books everywhere.

Is this a dream?

"Am I dreaming, wonwoo?"

Wonwoo chuckles. "No you're not princess. This whole room, belongs to me and only me. Its quite a number of books but I managed to finish half of the books in this room. " he replied with a lowkey proud smile on his face .

"That's amazing! Hey hey can I read the books in here ? Please? " jihyeon begged.

"Of course. If not , why would I bring you here?"

Ever since jihyeon bought wonwoo to the library and showed him her love for books, wonwoo has been dying to show her his 'little'  book room. He knew it would probably get her all excited to explore the whole place and it did. And it made wonwoo somewhat proud of himself for making jihyeon so delighted.

Pulling onto wonwoo's hand , jihyeon runs up the stairs where the glorious books are waiting for her fingers to flip its pages and her eyes to read its words.
