chapter 3

Poor park jihyeon. She had been woken up at 3:45 am , left the house to buy steak for wonwoo at 4:20am and served the steak to him at 5:10 am, leaving the house at 5:30am. Because of her exhaustion, She had overslept in the bus to school and missed her destination, making her walk to the opposite bus stop to reach school.

All because of wonwoo, she didn't get enough of sleep that's why her eyes kept shutting close when she tried to keep them up.

Curse him.

And yet, the girl has not done any revision for test. And there's even gym classes today .

"fucccccckkkkkk." Jihyeon groans, sliding her body on the table. She rests her head on the table but the teacher calls her name, telling her to sit up right.

Don't tell me what to do ms Ahn .

But jihyeon eyes immediately flew up when her teacher whacked the long yellow ruler against the whiteboard, making jihyeon jump out of her skin.

Alright ho I'm up. Jeez .

Jihyeon arrived back home, smelling like sweat and her legs were jelly from running and playing netball with her classnates.  She'd expected wonwoo to be long gone but the prince was comfortably sitting on her couch, watching SpongeBob on her television.

"Oh. Welcome back slave." Wonwoo greeted, not looking back at her.

Jihyeon wanted to yell at him, pull him out of the couch and shove him back into the book. But she had no energy to do any of that. She wished she did.

"Why are you still here." Jihyeon sighed, dropping her heavy bag onto the ground.

"I don't know how to get back to my world. But this world is kinda cool tho. OH HEY, I ALSO GOT THIS STUPID BOX THING ON BY PRESSING THIS RED BUTTON. " wonwoo points to the remote controller with the red power button on it. "Also, I know how to change the shows! LOOK LOOK ! "

"You can't go back? "

"Yea."

"You've got to be kidding. "

"I cross my heart that I'm real serious."

"Kill me.... " jihyeon walked up to her room, dragging herself up but wonwoo stopped her with three words.

"Hey, where's dinner? "

Jihyeon falls onto the stairs , making dying whale noises and hitting the stairs with her fist.

"Cmon slave. I'm going to give you 30 minutes to cook some good shit. " wonwoo snaps his fingers in the air, changing the channel once the outro song of Spongebob starts playing.

"Can I at least bathe first? " jihyeon asked weakly.

"Yea. But make it quick. I'm starving."

Using her remaining strength, jihyeon crawls up the never ending stairs , groaning each time when she reaches one.

After a warm steamy shower, jihyeon changed into a simple black sweater and ripped jeans. She grabbed her wallet and phone and walked down the stairs to see wonwoo watching some kid show as he was softly singing along with the characters.

Weirdo.

"Cmon wonwoo. We're going outside." Jihyeon jingles her apartment keys in her fingers.
