Don't tell me I'm beautiful, don't tell me I'm pretty.
Don't tell me I'm a sweet heart, don't tell me I'm nice.
Don't tell me I'm smart, don't tell me I'm wise.
Because I'll believe these words, these beautiful words.
These gorgeous, beautiful lies.
I'll keep them within me, and forget how to believe. Because I've been lied to, too many times to be.
