(Y/n)'s POV

After they dropped my off at my house, I showered, changed into my PJs. I jumped onto the couch/sofa and turned on the TV. A show called 'The Sing-off' started. For some reason it interested me, like a voice saying I should watch it and not flick to another channel. My eyes focused on the screen.

"Welcome back to the Sing-off, where we have a bunch of groups willing to win the semi-finals and win 2 million dollars" The host of the show said, the camera moved to the three judges. Shawn Stockman, Ben Folds and Sara Bareilles. The first accapella group came on stage and sand 'Angel with a shotgun'. They are really good, better than me. After the show has finished, accapella has been in my mind for ages. I changed into a crop top and shorts and went out, arriving at the foot of a radio building, I stepped in only being greeted by a friend.

"Hey (Y/n), going to sing your heart out again?" Krystal asked, I nodded.

"Ok, I'll go book a recording room so you can have your privacy" Krystal said and went to her computer, she typed a few things and gave me the room key card. I thanked her and went to the elevator. The doors opened when I reached the chosen floor. Sometimes walking down a hallway is really scary, especially after you've watched those horror movies. I quickly ran to the door of the recording room before any monsters can catch me. I flicked the card on the door lock.

I opened the door and the lights flickered on. I put my bag down onto the floor. The recording box is awaiting me. I got my phone out and plugged it so the sound would come out of the music headset. I chose 'Tides' instrumental by Jack&Jack. I went into the booth and waited till the song came on. It started. I started singing.

When the tide hits you straight in the face
Life is getting harder treading water, got nowhere to go
And as the time slips away, day by day
Stranded in the ocean, every open door has now been closed

Deadbolt locked, no escape
Feeling like an outcast, so out of place
And I know the tides might take you away
But don't you worry there's no hurry for tomorrow
'Cause today's still young

Now you've hit rock bottom and you're feeling lost at sea, yeah
Just keep your head above the water
And I know you'll find some way to breathe
When the tides they drag you down
When the tides they drag you down
Down under, further than you've ever been,
What I know
When the tides they pull you out
When the tides they pull you out
Out so far, Lord teach me how to swim, how to swim

Whoa oh oh

Whoa oh oh

Whoa oh oh

Stay away from the bad tides

Whoa oh oh Yeah
Only go where there's good vibes

The good vibes, I knew I would choose positivity
After I realize my life is so much more
I know this life ain't what you bargained for
But honestly you never know what
Life has got in store

'Cause everybody's gonna make it if they try
And if you persevere through your fears, never hide.
Fold your hands in a prayer to the sky
And let your worries wash away with the tides
And I'm singing

Now you've hit rock bottom and
You're feeling lost at sea, yeah
Just keep your head above the water
And I know you'll find some way to breathe
When the tides they drag you down
When the tides they drag you down
Down under, further than you've ever been,
What I know
When the tides they pull you out
When the tides they pull you out
Out so far, Lord teach me how to swim, how to swim

Whoa oh oh
Stay away from the bad tides
Whoa oh oh Yeah
Only go where there's good vibes

And you got to keep your chin up ,
Keep your head held high
Just forget about the bad tides ,
Let em roll on by
And you got to keep your chin up ,

Scott's POV

For some reason Mitch forced me to watch this show called 'The Sing-Off'. At first I wasn't really interested but now, it's like my fucking life. Accapella changed something inside me, something i never thought I would complete. I snapped out of my gaze as Mitch waved his hands around.

"You thinking about (Y/n) in bed again?" Mitch asked with his smirk, I slapped his arm

"No. First, I would NEVER do that. Second, I was thinking about accapella" I replied. Mitch put on an 'I-am-watching-you' look.

"We should invite (Y/n) for a sleepover!" Mitch squealed out of no where. A smile planted on my face when I heard her name, it suits her.

"Ok, i'll text her" I said and grabbed my phone.

Convo between Scott and (Y/n):

Me: Hey wanna come over for a sleepover?

(Y/n/n): Sure, be there in 10

Me: Ok

End of convo

I put my phone away and went to the bathroom to freshen up.

"Trying to impress (Y/n)?" Mitch asked as he saw my clothing. I was wearing a blue T, sweatpants and a flat hat backwards. I playfully glared at him and jumped on the couch. 10 minutes later the doorbell rang, I raced to the door and opened it. There stood a very beautiful looking (Y/n).

"Hey" (Y/n) greeted. I gave her a warm smile and invited her in.

"(Y/N/N)!!!!!!" Mitch shouted and gave her a big hug. She chuckled. (Y/n) walked to the couch and put her bag down, my and Mitch looked confused.

"Aren't I sleeping on the couch" (Y/n) asked

"NONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONO" Mitch waved his arms around.

"Your sleeping on a bed" Mitch added.

"But you guys have no guest room" She argued.

"You can sleep in my bed" I offered, she shook her head

"Where will you sleep?"(Y/n) asked again

"on the couch" I said simply. Mitch's eyes widened. Oh no...

"YOU TWO CAN SLEEP TOGETHER" Mitch suggested, I looked down, my cheeks blushing furiously.

"At least it's better than a couch" (Y/n) said and went to my room the but her bag down. I glared at Mitch. He mouthed 'totally worth it' and made a kissy face. I mentally facepalmed myself at that point.
