Chapter 5: Murderous Game

A few moments later

Tiffany: "Okay, I'm in the closet right now."

Josephine: "Okay, stay right there, okay? I'm gonna go there."

Tiffany: "You what?!"

Josephine: "I'm gonna go to your house to find out what this is all about, okay?! Or you want me to call the police??"

Tiffany: "Yess! Wait no, nonono.. I don't want them to be involved.."

Josephine: "Then I'll go there!"

Tiffany: "Be fast, will you??"

Josephine: "Okay, okay."

Josephine hung up. She texted Ed.

Josephine: "Ed, pick me up at my place, we're going to Tiffany's."

Ed: "What? Why?"

Josephine: "A lot to explain. Just do it, okay? Fast!"

A few moments later, Ed arrived with his car. Josephine quickly got in.

Ed: "Lucky I drive a freakin' car."

Josephine: "Yeap."

Ed: "So what happened?"

Josephine was out of breath.

Josephine: "Tiffany called me and she said that there's two people wearing hoodies standing outside of her house for ten minutes. Then they began to open the front door!"

Ed: "No way! Then what'd you say??"

Josephine: "I told her to go hide. And she hid in her closet."

Ed went silent.

Ed: "I really hope she's okay."

Josephine: "Yeah."

Ed: "Do you, uhm.. think that there's a connection to it?"

Josephine: "To what?"

Ed: "... Jason."

Josephine went silent.

Josephine: "Let's just focus on the road, okay?"

Then suddenly, Josephine's phone rang.

Incoming Call: Kelly

Josephine picked it up.

Josephine: "Kelly?"

Kelly: "Josephine.."

Kelly was out of breath.

Josephine: "Kelly? What is it?"

Kelly: "I.. I just arrived at Tiffany's to return her USB for our biology project, when I saw her..."

Josephine: "What? You saw her what?"

Kelly went silent.

Kelly: "... Dead."

Josephine's eyes widen. She started to cry.

Josephine: "Where are you right now?"

Kelly: "I'm.. still at her place."

Josephine: "I'm coming."

Josephine hung up. They went silent.

Ed: "I'm sorry."

Josephine went silent. She wiped her tears on her cheeks.

Ed: "She's a really good frie-"

Josephine: "Let's just go to her place, okay?! Maybe,, she's still alive, she's fine!"

Ed went silent and focused on the road.

When they almost got there, the car stopped.

Ed: "Shit, no!"

Josephine: "What?!"

Ed: "The car, what the hell is wrong with you?!"

Ed hit the steering wheel.

Ed: "Go in there, Josephine. I'll fix this."

Without hesitation, Josephine went inside Tiffany's house and found Kelly.

Josephine: "Kelly!"

They hugged each other. They were in tears.

Josephine: "Where is she?!"

Kelly stepped aside. Josephine looked at Tiffany's dead body. Her throat slashed, her blood all over the place. Josephine cried.

Kelly: "I checked her pulse, I can't believe that she's gone." Kelly cried.

Just then, Josephine's phone beeped. She got a new message. From an unknown number. It says:

"Hello, Josephine. Welcome to the Werewolf Game, where only the Werewolves can kill. We've made our moves, how about you make yours?
- Werewolf

Josephine couldn't think of anything. She had lost 2 of her friends, one of them was her best friend. What she thought was just a one time thing, turns out to be a game, a murderous game.

Just then, Ed came in.

Ed: "Where is she, Jo-, oh no."

He looked at Tiffany's dead body. He noticed Josephine read something on her phone.

Ed: "What's wrong??"

Ed read the message Josephine received. Ed looked up, they all stared at each other in horror.
