Sighing, I watch as Christopher gently lays his head under my stomach.
"So.. If... If I lay by head on your tummy, then the baby will stop cooking?"

Yes, we're currently cooking child number two.
"Yes, Christopher. You'll crush it before it can even be fully cooked."
I try to explain to him. He always asks to lay his head on my stomach when we cuddle, especially when I'm pregnant.
"But, Kate.... Linn!!!! I just wanna hear it's heart... Beat!... Then, maybe I'll hear it breathing!"
He pouts, but gasps in excitement on his last sentence. My little bundle of joy.
Looking over at Chris, I notice him creating spit bubbles with his mouth. Grinning from ear to ear, I shake my head. He's already one year old. Time sure is going by fast.
