Colby's POV
I gasp and I guess they heard me because they stop kissing. Alex looks at me with wide eyes.
"Colby" he starts to say but I cut him off.
"Save it" I say and then run away. I can't believe he would do this to me. I knew he didn't actually like me. Why was I so stupid?
I continue running until I get to the abandoned part of school and that's where I break down crying.
Alex's POV *before Colby got there*
I'm so excited to see Colby after he gets out of class. Right now I'm almost to the bleachers so I can wait for him. Once I get there I sit down and wait.
After a minute I hear someone coming closer so I smile and stand up expecting to see Colby but instead saw a girl.
"Hi my name is Aria" the girl who I now know as Aria says.
"Hi Aria I'm Alex" I say a bit warily because I wasn't expecting to see anyone but Colby here.
"Oh I know" she say and then walks closer to me "and I think that you are dating the wrong person."
"What are you talking about?" I say starting to get angry.
"I'm talking about how you" she points right at my chest "are dating Colby and not me. Why would you date a loser like him anyways? I bet it's joke" she say and then starts to laugh.
"It's not a joke" I say and take her hand off my chest "and I am definitely dating the right person."
"Well we'll see how you feel after this."
"After wh--" I try to ask but get cut off by her pressing her lips against mine. I'm shocked for a couple of seconds but before I get to push her off I hear a gasp. We pull apart and I look over to see Colby standing there with tears forming in his eyes.
"Colby" I start to say so I can explain everything but Colby cuts me off by telling me to save it and then running off.
"See now we can be together and you don't have to worry about Colby." Aria says with a smile on her face.
"No Aria I don't want to be with you. I want to be with Colby but you might have ruined it."
I say and then start to run after Colby.
"Alex this won't be the last of me. We'll be together just wait and see." I hear Aria yell behind me but I could care less about her right now. All I care about is finding Colby and fixing things.
After awhile of running I realized he might be in the abandoned part of school so I ran there. Once I got there what I saw broke my heart. There was Colby sitting there with his face in his hands crying his eyes out. I walk towards him and try to hug him but all he does is push me away.
"Go away" he says very softly.
"Colby I'm sorry. I didn't want to kiss her she came onto me." I say and try to wipe away his tears but he moves his head back.
Colby's POV
"What happened?" I ask because I want to know the whole story. He then tells me about how he went to the bleachers to wait for me, that she came and started to talk to him, how he started to get mad at what she was saying, and then how she kissed him. I sat there for a minute taking it all in.
"I'm really sorry Colby. I didn't know she was going to do that and when she did I was shocked and didn't get a chance to push her off before you came." He says looking me in the eyes.
"It's ok I forgive you" he sighs and leans forward and hugs me.
"I'm so happy you forgave me baby." He says and nuzzles his nose into my hair and then whispers "I love you"
"I love you too" I say quietly trying not to break the atmosphere that has settled itself in the room.
"Well c'mon let's go to my house and have some fun" he says standing up and giving me his hand to help me up.
"Ok" I say and then take his hand "thank you."
"You're welcome baby." He says making me blush at the nickname.
Once we get to his car we get in and he drives us to his house so we could hang out.
