The day before Christmas Eve, Megan and Joseph got up with the twins at 5:30am, fed and changed the twins then laid them back down and decided to just stay up and do their workout so they went back to their room, changed into workout clothes, got a water bottle each and went down to the gym. They did their usual workout, went upstairs, got their clothes from the top of the dresser and laid them on the bed then went to the bathroom, turned the water on, stripped their clothes and got in the shower.
They helped wash each other up then they turned off the water and Joseph grabbed their towels. He wrapped one of the towels around her and she tucked the flap in across her chest then he put the second towel around her shoulders. He pulled her hair out so it was over the towel and wrapped her hair in the towel then Megan took over, drying her hair and wrapped the third towel around his own waist. Joseph snaked his arms around Megan's waist and she looked back at him then he leaned in and kissed her.
Megan turned in Joseph's arms, put her arms around his neck and they kissed until they had to break for air then Joseph laid his forehead against hers as they caught their breath. They stood there for a few minutes then Megan brought her arms down so her palms were against his chest and kissed the spot right above his heart. He leaned down and kissed her head gently then said, "We should probably get done. The twins will be up soon." He moved his arms and she stepped away, drying her hair.
Joseph went over to the sink and started shaving as Megan removed the towel from her body and dried herself off then wrapped the towel backaround herself and took the towel out of her hair. She dried her hairbetter then hung that towel up as Joseph finished shaving and wasrinsing the sink down. He finished right as Megan was about to walkout into the bedroom. Joseph quickly dried himself off and hung histowel then went to the bedroom and started getting dressed.
When Megan was done she went to the bathroom and started putting her makeup on, just eyeliner, mascara and her favorite cherry-flavored lip gloss as she was doing her eyeliner Joseph came in and asked her if she wanted him to help with her hair. She said yes and when she was done putting on her eyeliner she sat on the lid of the toilet facing the wall then Joseph brushed her hair out and asked, "French braid, right?" Megan said yes and Joseph braided her hair then they grabbed their phones, which had been on the charger all night, and headed for the front room.
As they walked Megan checked the time on her phone and said, "It's 8:16am the twins will be up in about fifteen minutes." They saw Katie sitting on her mom's lap watching kiddie shows. Megan asked, "Good morning, Mom, where's Dad?" "In the kitchen with Tim making breakfast. Good morning" Rachel said. Megan and Joseph went to say good morning to their dads and get their morning coffee. As they were pouring the coffee they heard Christian start crying so Megan put the sugar back, poured the coffee creamer and stuck a spoon in the cup then asked Joseph, "Baby can you take my coffee to the front room for me please?"
"Of course Baby. Just call if you need me" Joseph said then picked up both coffee cups and headed to the living room while Megan headed tothe twins' room. She had noticed when she was still making her coffee that Christian stopped crying and when she walked into their room Rachel was sitting in the rocker rocking him and holding hispacifier. When Rachel saw Megan she said, "Look who's here Christian. It's Mommy" and turned him so he could see Megan. As soon as their eyes locked Christian smiled at her and Megan smiled back as she held her hands up and said, "BabyBoy! Good morning Baby. Did you sleep well? Are you hungry? Let's getyou fed."
