Fear, that's the only thing I felt, what everyone felt at our arrival. The time finally came, our chance to bright, our chance to fight, our moment to finish this everlasting war. Or so everyone thought.
That was until we saw the giant army we where against. The face of everyone disfigured as we saw how big and powerful the army of Sinai was. I could hear the million of whispers all around me as the anxiety and fear took over our army. Slowly killing our confidence, destroying our feelings, questioning the choices of our superiors.
"What where they thinking?" I heard some one exclaim from the distance. They started loosing faith. How can we beat an army twice as big as ours?
Standing in front of my doom, I found my self trembling with fear as I felt how the anxiety took all over my existence.
My father used to be a Holy Knight recognized and praised all over the kingdom while my brother used to be one of the most versatile archers the Kingdom has seen in the last few decades. And there I was, unable to even swing my sword. Millions of thoughts ran through my head, confusing me, consuming me. Just thinking about dying made me want to escape from this reality, run as far as I could, but I found my self unable to move.
Immobile, I felt how the sweat ran through my body, drop by drop. My confidence started to fall apart watching the discouraged expressions of my brothers and sisters.
"Is this really happening?" I asked my self as I thought how much we have trained for years with the best warriors of the Kingdom and now we found our selves being massacred by our own minds.
"This isn't happening" as I imagined how my death was going to be. Slow, painful while I felt the sword in my stomach, screaming help while there is chaos all around as I stare at the blood flowing out of my bo-
"That's enough." I heard as I felt a palm on my right shoulder. When I looked I felt a huge relief.
"You've been torturing your self for quite a while now, relax"
"You're right man, always saving my butt, even from my self " I replied with a smile.
Jalien has always been there for me since we where kids, we where raised together, trained together and do everything together. He is one of the most talented warriors at the moment and now we are about to face death together.
Every one is getting impatient and losing control. Nerves are everywhere as our King appears in front of our eyes.
"Everybody listen up" the King shouted, captivating everybody's attention."
They are more than us, as you can see. They are bigger, they have giants. But if I know one thing is that we are stronger! We've beaten dozens of kingdoms twice as big as us, over and over again. Why? Because we have each other, we count with each other and we fight for some one else not just for ourselves. We are the most powerful Kingdom and we will win this war once and for all. Don't worry because your King is here." Said the king as every body restored faith in his king and their own capability.
Every body took a deep breath as the king raised his sword. Those seconds became eternal as everybody waited for the signal. But something was wrong. They din't moved an inch even when they saw our king take position. But no time to worry because the war is about to-
"Attack"! Shouted the king. Everybody started running but in the end I couldn't move. Some thing was missing. I looked at the sky and the only thing I saw was a rain of rows...
