Newt

You had been in the glade a few weeks now. Everyone knew you and you knew them. The only person you didn't get along with was gally. He was selfish and rude to everyone. Since day 1 he had a problem with you. Your bestest friends were of course minho, Thomas and newt but only Thomas knew you had a thing for newt.

Everyday you would work in the fields. The best part was spending all day with newt. If you didn't know how to do something, he would teach you until you got it right. After all, he was the first person in the glade you met. The first guy you trusted.

"Hey Y/N stop day dreaming and get back to work!"

"Sorry Newt, thinking to myself again!"

"Its fine, how about we finish early and have some free time?"

"Sure, see you all tomorrow!"

You loved having newt as a boss, you could leave whenever he was tired. As usual, you strolled into the woods. By now, you had your own little hide out, away from all the guys. It was like your own private sanctuary instead of staying in the homestead.

Silence in the woods is perfect. Just the sound of trees swaying and the wind whistling through your ears. Just perfect.

Twigs snap below you. The silent is disturbed. You lower your head to see a person staring up at you, the only one who knows about this place.

"Hey Y/N I'm coming up!"

"Shhhh I don't want people knowing about this place now hurry!"

He starts to climb the tree and moments later Thomas is by your side.

"You ok Y/N? You only come up here in the day when something is wrong!"

"No, Newt just let us off early today and I wanted to clear my head and enjoy the peace"

He pulls you into a hug, "Its ok Y/N, its obvious he likes you too."

"Hope so Thomas"

"Well we better go to dinner anyway before people notice we aren't there!"

"Ok, lets go"

You both jump down and start to walk over to the kitchen. You grab some food and sit with Minho, Thomas sits next to minho. A few minutes later, newt comes over and sits next to you.

"Hey Y/N."

"Hey Newt!"

"Can we talk after tea please?"

"Sure"

You both finish within 10 minutes.

Thomas gloats "Oooo where are you two off to."

Newt says sternly"Oh go away Thomas, your just jealous."

You start to blush when newt takes your hand and starts to lead you outside and into the forest. Before you leave the kitchen, you turn around to see Thomas and minho laughing at you both.

Once outside, you go deeper and deeper into the woods.

"Where are we going Newt?"

He doesn't speak just continues forward. You both pass a few more trees when all of a sudden, he turns around and pushes you against the tree of a trunk. You feel his lips slowly kiss you. He pulls back.

"Sorry, I have always wanted to do that, I just couldn't hide my feelings anymore."

He holds you by the waist and kisses you one more time until you are rudely interrupted.

"Ooooo Y/N and newt, I knew this would happen."

"Hahaha they are so cute together"

You turn around and see Thomas and minho laughing. You see newt become embarrassed and his face drops. You turn his chin towards you.

"Ignore them, I have feelings for you too"

He looks daringly into your eyes and smiles one last time continuing to kiss you. Minho and Thomas start to whistle. You ignore the world and finally feel complete for the first time in weeks.
