The Maze Runner Imagines

Newt

I haven't updated In a long time so I thought I'd read over what I've done and wrote some more. I know my past imagines have not been the best but please keep reading I promise I will try to make them more enjoyable. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to send them. For now, enjoy!

A loud blaring alarm bellows into your ears, a cold shiver runs through your limp body. You try to stand in the cage like box your in. Your eyes dart all around curiously and you see boxes upon boxes all labelled with the same thing. W. I. C. K. E. D. You sit and wonder for a while until a painful jolt begins to move the shaft your in. It starts to shoot upwards faster and faster. Your slammed into a corner and feel a gashing pain through your left arm. Another sudden jolt and your thrown into a pile of sharp boxes slashing into your right leg. With your right arm you slowly move it down to your shaking leg and feel the blood oozing out. An unbearable pain escalates over your body. The noise gets louder as you get higher. You crawl over to the corner of the cage and sit trying to stop the blood and keep your left arm still. As you get higher, a lid can start to be seen. The box suddenly comes to a halt and all the stacked boxes crash into your head causing a gash on the right side of your face.

The lid above slowly begins to open as your blinded by the bright sun. You move your right hand over your eyes as you hear slight whispers and gasps. A tall, muscular blonde jumps down making the whole cage rattle. Too exhausted from the pain you just sit there staring. From above you hear some say,

'It's a girl!!'

The boy slowly lent down to you and saw the multiple injuries. He yelled up to the others with his thick British accent
'She's hurt. Everyone back up I'm bringing her out'
He came closer to you and said
'I'm newt. Don't try and talk, your injured. I'm just going to take you to the medjacks ok?'

You feel his arms wrap around you trying not touch your cuts or arm. You let out a terrifying scream causing some of the others to jump in to help. Newt tells them to just unload all the boxes and supplies. Another one of the boys noticed the worse cut on your leg and noticed it was loosing the most blood. He told newt to just hold you still while he wrapped a bandage around it. He pulled it tightly to stop the blood. As soon as he was finished newt tried to run to the medjacks.

He placed you down on the bed and you saw multiple people crowd around you with bandages and water etc. With all the chaos you slowly slipped into unconscious.

Three days later

You wake up to the same boy standing there. What was his name? Newt? You tried to get up but he stopped you and said ' hey stay still. You've broke your arm and got some nasty cuts. Can you tell me your name?'

'I don't remember'

'It's fine that's a natural thing but you were just a shock to us'

'Why? What is this place? What's going on?'

'Slow down greenie. You need to rest'

You slowly fall asleep as he grabs your hand and says
'Everything will be ok. I promise'

A month later

You knew a few more people like Thomas and Minho and Gally and chuck. They were all quite nice to you even Gally. But the nicest was your hero, newt. By now your arm had healed quite well and it was only your leg that was still injured.

You stumbled out of the homestead on crutches with newt following close behind.

'Hey Y/N is up!'

Cheers were surrounding you. You stood there and smiled until newt put his arm around your waist and said that was enough for one day. He was very protective over you and didn't want you to get any more injuries.

Within the month of healing you had, you spent most of the time with newt. You had become quite close. He had told you everything about the glade and everyone in it. He explained everything and how it was so different that there was a girl in the box.

With his arm still around your waist he helps you in the woods and says he wants to show you something. As you get half way through the woods he stops and says
'Look up. While you were recovering I made somewhere where you can go to be away from all of us.'

Speechless, he helps you up into the treehouse and takes over to a viewing area. You can see the whole glade from the top it was beautiful. You stayed up there for hours until the sun set. He noticed you started to get tired so he helped you stay upright by keeping his hand around you. He pulled you closer and kissed you.
'I've wanted to do that for so long'

He pulls you closer until your in a tight hug and he's the only thing keeping you up. You kiss again and watch the sunset.

'I love you Y/N'

'I love you newt'
