Someone asked about you today
And I didn't know what to really say.
I just stood there with an open mouth
As they tried to reach in
And pry everything out from inside.
But I didn't have anything inside.
Inside was vacant
Besides my organs and stupid heart.
I didn't know what to say
Or how to explain
I just stood there with wide eyes
Like I was a deer caught in headlights.
At a loss for words and reason
All I did was stand there
Because I didn't know what to say
When they asked about you today.
