I sit in the middle of the room next to Harvey. Eva, Sarah, and Hayley stand in front of us.
"Why did you do this to us??" Harvey asks
"We can't exactly tell you..but we can say that it was all for a purpose." Hayley says
"So what part of this was a setup?" I ask
"It started with me dying. That wasn't real. Then Eva and Ryan came, they're part of the plan. Tom isn't a serial killer, Emily was acting, she's okay. Eva falling in love with you wasn't part of the plan. She did that all on her own. The police showing up wasn't part of the plan either. Tom and Emily both had to escape. We're really sorry for all this.." Hayley says
I sigh.
"What about Anisa?" Harvey asks
"She's part of the plan." Sarah says
Harvey nods.
"Well now what? Is it all over?" I ask
"Yeah. It is. But Eva is still dying." Sarah says
I sigh again.
"No one is really dead then?" Harvey asks
Hayley shakes her head.
"And we can go back home?" Harvey asks
Hayley nods.
"Well we should get going then." Harvey says standing up.
"Yeah." I say
I stand up with him.
"See you. I guess." I say
Harvey and I walk down the street. We're all dirty and scraped up.
"This is crazy. All of this. Was a setup. No ones dead." Harvey says shaking his head.
"I just don't understand. Why would they do this?" I ask
Harvey shrugs.
"What about Eva?" Harvey asks
I shake my head.
"I don't know." I say
"She really loved you Max." Harvey says
"She betrayed me. She lied this whole time." I say
Harvey sighs.

      We open the front door to our house. Tilly comes running up to us.
"Max! Harvey! Did you have fun playing with your friends?" She asks
I look at Harvey. He gives me a confused look. We slip our shoes off and walk to the living room.
"Oh Max, Harvey you're back. Go get washed up you're all dirty." Mum says flatly.
I give her a confused look. Why isn't she upset that we were gone for like 2 weeks?
I run upstairs, I pull my phone out.

Max: why are our parents not worried??

Hayley: we erased their memories and made them think you two were at the park.

Max: oh ok. Thanks

Hayley: yeah.

Max: one more thing.

Hayley: yeah?

Max: is Eva really dying?

Hayley: no. She's not.

Max: you sure?

Hayley: I am sure. She's not dying Max. She's okay.

Max: okay.

     I step into the bathroom to start my shower.
At dinner no ones has any recollection that we were gone for 2 weeks almost. Leo and Tilly fill us in about their day, and it's great to hear their voices again.
When we're all in the living room resting, someone knocks on the door. I get up to get it, Eva stands in the doorway.
"Can we talk?" She asks
